Krosts had passed since Viezil planted the orb and a hand full of humans now walked the realm of Ejitope. They lacked intelligence and suffered many hardships, that time was recorded as the stone age. It was also during that period of time that the Gods became unhappy with the slow progress humans were making, and due to the protection of Viezil they could not interfere and spur on the experiment. What Viezil was unaware of was the fact that over the krosts that had passed, the Gods and the Demons began making their own faux humans based off of the form Viezil had given humans. Yet regardless of how much they tried, they could not imitate what Viezil had done.
"Why is it not working Judesis? Do you have any idea how much resources I've pooled into this experiment?"
"Calm down Arazach, you are not the only one who has given up so much for this. I do not understand it; we have perfectly created faux humans, yet their forms cannot withstand the gifts we embed them with. This is the same amount that we poured into the orb so why does it not work?"
Judesis and Arazach brood over what the cause could have been, yet they made no progress.
"Arazach, there is only one thing we can do at this point. We need to enter Ejitope, steal a couple of the humans there and bring them back here to further experiment."
And so Judesis and Arazach entered Ejitope without the knowledge of Viezil and stole a hundred humans for further experimentation. Unbeknownst to them that a few of the humans they stole had adjusted to the dragon blood Viezil had poured over the orb in the beginning. The experiments on the humans were harsh and 90% of them died, it was when the dragonkin died that Viezil became aware of the situation. The link they had to him as the King of Dragons was what had notified him of their passing.
"Judesis!", Viezil roared as he ripped through a dimensional portal that opened in the heavens.
Three guards rushed forward to stop Viezil, yet Viezil spewed flames from his mouth and reduced the angel guards to ash.
"Do the Gods wish to provoke me? The Ragnarok that slaughtered angels in the Great Split!"
The surroundings angels lost their confidence the second Viezil mentioned the name Ragnarok, they did not retreat, yet they no longer lunged at the mighty dragon.
"Where is he? Tell me where Judesis is!"
"Please do calm down Viezil. May I enquire what all this commotion you have caused is about?"
Viezil did not bother answering Judesis, he lunged towards him and slashed with his claws. Judesis, caught off guard by the lightning fast speed Viezil had, was unable to block the attack as Viezil's claw gorged his eye out and took Judesis' right arm clean off of his body.
Judesis stumbled back and howled in pain, "You bastard! You will pay for that! Attack him!"
Angels charged towards Viezil as he cleaved through them with his razor sharp claws. More and more angels attacked Viezil, only to die by his claws or from the molten hot flames he spewed from his mouth. Judesis looked on with a mixture of fear and rage as the Ragnarok repeated what had happened during the Great Split. The battle continued for hours before no angel was willing to throw their life away anymore.
As the angels ran away in fear, a tired Viezil loomed over Judesis, "After I kill you I will destroy the humans living in Ejitope. Your death will be a message to Unos who refused to show his face, Dragons are not to be betrayed!"
As Viezil raised his claw to deal the final blow on Judesis a blade shot through his throat from behind.
"Excellent work experiment X1, you truly are near perfection." Judesis exclaimed as he watched Viezil get decapitated.
