With much difficulty, Diksha took a bite of her ice cream.
Arjun gave her a lopsided grin, "I'm gonna win this round".
"No way! I'll not let that happen," she snapped at him and took another bite.

If anyone would have been near them, they would have definitely witnessed two starving, hungry people horging their ice cream as if their life depended on it.

"Phew! I'm about to be done," Arjun huffed, gasping for breath. The big scoop was now paying off.
But, poor Diksha, she was not even halfway through it and her mouth had already frosted, and her stomach threatening to burst.
"No, no you're not doing that," she winced, eyeing his less than half left ice cream when suddenly her ice cream tripped off her hands and landed right on the floor.

"Shit!"They both stared at the helpless ice cream melting on the floor, crying the tears of raspberry.

Diksha dejectedly looked towards Arjun, whose face was shining with the victory, though he hadn't yet eaten up his cone, with Diksha cleanly getting out of the game, he became the undisputed winner.

"That- that's not fair, it wasn't my fault, it somehow tripped..."

"It wouldn't have jumped off your hand Diksha?" He taunted. "And if you think so that it's unfair, then I'm still left with the last piece, you can get yourself another one and start again," he pouted.

"Huh! You're a jerk," she huffed and hit him lightly on his shoulder.

He let out a laugh, "Don't worry, angry bird, one more is still left, and this will change the fate," he said with a grave tone."Both of us are at the same level now."
"Mark it, you're gonna regret," she said squinting.
"Same for you," he said slightly poking her nose.

The slight touch surged incomprehensible sensation across her body, giving her goosebumps.
She panicked slightly, her mind and heart were behaving completely out of her control.
She was intentionally called a tomboy, hanging with boys most of the time, she was comfortable with them, then why there was a sort of uneasiness in the air whenever she was around Arjun.
" Hey! Shall we proceed to the next round, Diksha Sharma?" Arjun waved at her as she was zoned out.
"Yeah! But wait, no more food, right!" She said gruffly.
"Hell, no" and they both let out a chuckle.

As they were walking towards the car, Arjun's phone rang, it was Rishav.
" Hey Rishav! Yup, we're coming," Arjun nodded.
"What about the last challenge? " Diksha looked at him quizzically.
"We'll have it sure, I'm dying to celebrate my victory, " he swaggered.
She looked at him in disbelief. "Huh! Whatever, but that last one will be my choice, agreed? "
He nodded, as they get into the car.

Diksha was silently musing over their last competition when suddenly a lifetime idea struck on her.

"Umm Arjun...I was thinking...why don't we just take a selfie, you know...to commemorate this competition," she looked at him expectantly, fidgeting with her phone.

"Yeah! Why not? I would like to remember this scary day, which I spent with you," he smirked.

Diksha squinted at him, but remained silent, she was feeling awkward to click a selfie with Arjun but she had to do it.
Though Diksha was not into selfies this time there lied a motive, something which would put off the blazing fire of retaliation in her, to some extent.

"Give your best smile, Arjun," Diksha pouted on the camera and clicked what one can say the best selfie of the year.
"I look par handsome even in my grumpiest mood," Arjun said jauntily.
"Yeah," Diksha absent mindedly blurted out as she was busy editing the pic.
"Yeah! So you agree... I looking handsome?" He looked at her amused.
Instantly, Diksha realized what she had blurted out and a slight blush crept across her cheeks.
"No! I mean yeah, you think so, but not me." With a sheepish grin twitching her lips, she jumped off the car as they had reached the cafeteria, leaving an amused Arjun staring at her.
