Hello buddies!

Hope you all are doing well,

This is the longest chapter I've written till date.
Hope you'll enjoy it:-)

Crazer210's words were still flashing across Diksha's mind. Amaya was no doubt a pain in her ass, but what was the cure to it? Diksha kept on musing.

Back in the school days, she would pay back Amaya for her sarcastic, rude and mean behavior in the form of a prank, but things were different now, she didn't want to repeat those same things with her. A grin crept on her lips imagining Amaya finding a frog in her purse or her hair being completely dyed into lemonish color or making her slip on a banana peel. That was all silly though, but what's the harm in imagining if it could make you giggle.

Diksha realized that she too had never restrained herself from being rude to Amaya in the past, who once used to be her BFF. They used to share all their top secrets and plans. They together had played pranks on many like Diksha's tutor who was a way too strict with her and Amaya's caretaker who had beheaded her favorite doll in the fits of anger and the big bully in their school who used to snatch everyone's lunch boxes.
Diksha's heart warmed from reviving those old sweet memories of their friendship which had ended due to a bitter reality and confusions.
She let a puff of sigh, it was the time to mend those ripped out pieces.

The first class of that day was a restless one for Diksha; all her friends had already decided upon their assignment topic but, Diksha. Even Amaya was missing from that class.
Diksha had searched and thought on several topics for an hour previous night and had at last satisfactorily decided upon one.

As soon as the class ended she rapidly shoved her books into her bag, hung it over the shoulder and sped to find Amaya. Her friends were no doubt bothered about her, for nobody knew what could happen next.

Diksha wasn't sure of finding Amaya on such a big campus. And they weren't sharing much of the classes either.
Luckily, she found one of Amaya's brainless followers giggling over the phone at a corner. Though, she didn't know her name but had seen her hanging out with Amaya most of the time. She decided to enquire her of Amaya's whereabouts.
"Excuse me, do you know where Amaya is?" Diksha tapped on her shoulder.
"Wait a min baby," that girl whispered into her phone before turning around to face her.
"Why the hell do you ask?" She snapped at her.
Diksha lost her temper at that girl's rude response,"It's none of your business to know, and by the way, haven't your classy boss taught you any manner and etiquette?" She raised an eyebrow at that girl. "How could she, who herself is running out of it," she shrugged off her shoulder.
The girl, whatever her name was kept gawking at her.
"Tell me, I don't have time to waste, have to discuss a topic with her," Diksha asked glancing at her watch.
"She's working out in the college gym," that girl annoyingly replied.
"Thanks," throwing a short smile at her, Diksha ran towards the college gymnasium.

After a short search, she was standing at the doorstep of the college gymnasium. She had never set foot in that room. For her, it was all for the health conscious and beauty concerned people. She was happy to be fit by working out on the playground.
Diksha stepped inside. The gymnasium was a huge room. It was arranged with different kinds of equipment. Leaving a few, she was alien to most of them. There were not many people in the room.
To her relief, she spotted Amaya on a treadmill. Carefully, she made her way around those huge types of equipment, trying not to topple over any.
Amaya had headphones on and was running on the treadmill.
That girl had an amazing figure, the one which every girl pray to have and every guy wish to hold.
Diksha walked to her, to drive her attention.
As soon as Amaya's glance fell on her, she slowed down and let a laugh skipped from her mouth.
"Look who has, at last, walked to my feet."
Diksha's blood boiled hearing those snide remarks. But she reminded herself of the truce for which she was stuck there.
"How couldn't I? You're such a genius, though I hate to lie." She noticed Amaya's lips twitching in annoyance from her reply.
"That's why you came running to me," Amaya smirked, getting down from the treadmill, and walking over to her bag.
"You should know, that not even in my wildest dream I would like to have you as my enemy forget about my project partner," Diksha remarked.
"Scared of me?" Amaya asked with a fake smile plastered on her face.
"Enmity should be done with genius,"her voice sneered with sarcasm. "Keeping these debate aside, I want to say that I've decided on a topic."
