Hey guys!
I'm really embarrassed for such a late update. But there were some glitches going on with Wattpad and then I was having my test.
However, I have uploaded this chapter, hope you'll enjoy reading it♥♥♥Diksha had devoured four cups of coffee; the fire of retaliation blazing in her eyes. She was deeply insulted and rebuked by Amaya, and what for, because she had asked Arjun to question on her imprudent and unjustified act and she thought that Diksha was snatching away her boyfriend from her.
A laugh escaped from her mouth thinking about it, but immediately she realised a couple staring at her from the other side, they might be thinking she had run off from a mental hospital.
However, she found Amaya's theory quite funny, she might have banged her head with her own haughtiness to talk like that.
Diksha was dragged back to reality by her vibrating phone.
She thought to ignore the call and put her phone on do not disturb mode when her breath stuck in her throat.Arjun's name was flashing across it.
Diksha rubbed her eyes to make sure she wasn't hallucinating.
No, she wasn't, as her phone continued to vibrate. Dazed, she instantly accepted the call.'Diksha! Are you alright? Have you lost it? Where are you? Do you know how worried your friends are? How can you be so careless?" Arjun's concerned voice boomed on the phone.
Diksha quietly kept listening to his streak of questions.
"Are you listening to me, Diksha?" He again asked."Arjun relax! I'm completely fine, no need to worry, " she sighed.
"But where are you? And why weren't you answering any call?" He questioned again."I'm in a cafe, I was feeling a bit off so I..."
"Diku! I'm gonna kick your ass, you dumbo! Do you know how worried we were? " Kirti snarled snatching the phone from Arjun's hand."Oh God! Why are you all freaking like a mother? I'm not a small kid," Diksha snapped.
"But..."
"I said I'm completely fine, you guys are not supposed to go freaking for me. I'd like to be left alone for a while," Diksha said gruffly.
There was a silence for a moment."Fine, and take care, you know na we're always there for you."
Diksha hung up the phone.
From there she directly headed towards her house; four cups of coffee were playing their role, her bladder was about to explode.
***
A week passed smoothly, without any drama. Diksha told her friends but Arjun, the reason for her grumpy mood that day. They all suggested their own ways to teach Amaya a lesson, with Diksha assuring them to muse upon each of it.There wasn't any interaction with Arjun except some occasional hi hello.
As she hadn't forgotten Amaya's warning to stay away from him. So Diksha was in search of a chance to talk to Arjun in front of her. But Amaya was nowhere to be seen the whole week, she least care about the classes and studies. They hadn't had any class of Nikhil either that week, hence there was no news of him. That guy was weird for Diksha but all other girls of her class left no chance to swoon over him.
Diksha was sprawled on her bed, glued to her phone. After much debate with her conscience, she agreed upon sending a Hi to Crazer210, the same nutter from Facebook, from whom she hadn't heard from a long time.
There was a strong desire in her heart to know who that guy was. Her life had no doubt taken a strange and abrupt turn. There were three guys in her life now, each weirder than the other. And for one she didn't even know his name.Diksha's phone rang, scooping her out of her thoughts.
Mansi's name flashing across the screen."Hey, Mansi! What's up babe?" Diksha chimed.
"Listen, I'll be there at your place in twenty minutes, get ready instantly, I'll pick you up." She frained.
