Chapter 6

Lance sat down and leaned against a crate relaxing.

"Lesson number one,"

He began and gave Keith the oar and sat him in the front of the ship.

"Pull the sheet. "

Keith got up looking around grabbing different things until finally getting it right.

"You also need to measure the stars."

Lance said. He looked up to see Keith with his hand up looking at the constellations.

"Your measuring stars not giving the sky a high five. "

Lance snickered and pat the chicken.

"If the current is warm your going the right way if it's now your definitely in the wrong. "

A month has passed and both of them warmed up to each other. Keith got used to Lance's flirting and always joking around. Lance just had this air around him that made Keith smiled. Lance got used to being shut down but still loved the tinier man none the less.

When they arrived to a piece of land it was the wrong one. They still had a mile left to go and both men were tired.

"Altea? Why am I home?"

"Keith."

He turned around to see his older brother and Allura there. The island soon turned to black dust surrounding Keith as he fell on to his knees.

Both Allura and Shiro fell on there knees being engulfed by the mysterious black dust dying of it. There blood spilled from there eyes and there guts soon spilled out.

"NO! I'm sorry, I failed you guys. "

"Are you really?"

Keith turned around to find Lance glaring at him.

"I AM!"

"-th. Keith buddy wake up. "

When Keith woke up he was in Lance's arms with a cold sweat and tears on him.

"Are you okay? You were having that dream again weren't you?"

Keith nodded and hugged his knees. Lance put his arm around his friend as an attempt to comfort him.

"It's okay, I'm sorry. I promise you we'll save them. "

Lance hugged Keith who was stiff at first but soon hugged Lance back. It felt good to be embraced like that. He hasn't felt like this in a while. He's glad to have Lance with him in this.

"Look where here. Do you need more time or are you fine right now? "

Keith nodded and got of the boat and stepped on to the sand. His toes curled up in it, he had forgotten how good it felt to step on it.

"And your positive about this Lotor guy having your hook?"

"Lotor of course he's gonna have it. He's a scavenger and greedy as hell. So of course he's gonna want my hook."

Keith nodded and tied a rope to a heavy rock so it wouldn't float away.

"And Lotor lives way up there?"
