SOMETIMES IN LIFE when things get out of hand, and I start to believe that everything from this point onwards is miserable, I am only then reminded of the place where I belong. From time, to time I believe every person should be reminded of where they belong. Money, fame, cars and expensive clothes may change a person completely, but we should never forget who we were before, and where we belong.

With a sigh of mock-irritation, I get out of the car and quickly walking over to catch up with Mia and Taehyung, as they seem to be walking a rather fast.

            “Over there,”Mia points out at a store, and my eyes follow towards her direction only to find a large two story store with glass walls and beautifully mannequins clad in wedding gowns.

I walk hastily over there, as we enter the cool air, of the air conditioner crawls through my skin, making me exhale tiredly, today the weather was relatively warm, and the sun was bright and heated. And I've come to realize it as soon as we got out of the school.

             “I was waiting for when you would come,” says a young lady merely same age as Mia's smiling over to me, as she notices me standing behind her.

“How are you? Loren, it's been so long....how is Dan and the kids?” Mia starts asking the woman multiple questions at time making me wonder was she for some reason intimidated by this woman? 

           “Oh! They are doing lovely Dan is busy with work as always and I am here busy with the boutique,” says the brunette, I noticed how she kept taking glances at me while she talked I moved away from them, giving them space to talk.

           To my surprise Taehyung was there standing at the corner talking to someone on his phone, his expression showed how less interested he was to whom ever he might be talking, I watched how he undid the first two buttons of his shirt, and then loosen his tie up. He looked exhausted, and why wouldn't he be, after a hectic day at work, who wouldn't?

          Some how, he noticed my stare at him, as he looked at my way and it was like some magic has been casted the frown resting on his forehead faded and his lips quirk up into a smile. I felt my heart flatter even after how much I was frustrated with him and he was hurt because of me, but despite everything. That smile,  it was like it's all okay, even though we both know nothing is okay anymore.

                   “Sofia?” Upon hearing Mia call for me, I turn around and walk away from him, my steps careful and my smile faint as I approached her.
