THE WEEK HAS NOT yet ended and already I feel as if I have been here for all eternity. Between school walls, time flows like cement, nothing has changed we were still the same, he was still with her and I was still alone. This Wednesday, it was a public holiday and I found myself in the kitchen beating eggs, rolling my eyes sighed with mock irritation.This morning when I woke up to find Jimin and Mia here so as Mia made lunch it's my turn to make desert and here I am trying to bake what some how was supposed to be a lemon pie, lemon that's Jimin's favourite.

Not did I wanted to but he forced me to do so.

He promised me that he would help me well now, he is there playing on Xbox with Taehyung and Mia. I was surprised when Mia said that she wants to play too.

Shrugging my shoulders in a nonchalant manner, I made my way towards the oven bending down holding onto the disaster I baked making a face of disgust, I dropped it on the counter.

The smell of burned lemon pie hit my nostril causing my face to cringe,
I rubbed my hands against my apron.

I mentally encouraged myself and decided to trow the burned pie in the dust bin but as soon as my bare hands made in contact with the heated platter, I jumped as a jolt of burning sensation throbbed against my flesh, the pie fell on the floor making a loud noise as my eyes flickered with surprise.

Shit why did I even took off the gloves

“What happened? asked a worried looking Taehyung rushing into the kitchen followed by Jimin and Mia.

“I ....I”before I could even finish my sentence Taehyung holds my hand in his large one, his warmth I closed my eyes as unknowingly a year ran down my eye

“This looks bad,” he murmured, his voice hoarse, and low—he's gazing at me concentrating hard, my heart slammed against my chest, my heart beat raced as heat rose to my cheeks.

“Here”,says Mia handing Taehyung the ice bag.

“What were you even doing in the kitchen in the first place”,he mutters while putting the icy substance against my burned skin, I winced as the burn subsided very slowly, through the pain dying but the burn still evident.

“I was trying to...bake,”I breathed out taking my bottom lip between my teeth from the pain, the mere causes him to look up his eyes staring at my mouth, his eyes darken his gaze longer upon my face before very steadily he starts drawing, warm feathery circles against my flesh.
