The silver haired goddess happily skipped threw the hallway. She stopped in front of a large brown door and slowly opened the door. She peaked her head inside to see the red haired fairy she was looking for.She happily called out to the fairy that was deep in thought."There you Gloxinia!I bring great news."

For a second Elizabeth saw the fear in the fairy's eyes and his muscles tense up.But as soon as the fairy saw who was at the door he quickly changed back into his happy appearance.

"Are you alright Gloxinia?"Elizabeth asked as she walked towards the fairy who was oddly standing in the middle of the room for no reason."You seemed tense a second ago."

Gloxinia lightly scratched the back of his head."Sorry to worry you.I was just so deep in thought you startled me for a second there.Anyway, what is this great news you bring?".

A bright smile grew on the goddess's face."Well since we won't be having any missions anytime soon and we are approaching the day of war I was hoping to throw a little party."

Gloxinia cocked his head to the side."A party?"

"Well not a really a party but more like a friendly gathering.Since the war is so close and we only have a certain amount of time left with each other, I liked to spend our last day together."

The fairy laughed at the goddess ."Your words sound like we will never see each other again Elizabeth."The fairy said jokingly.

Those words made Elizabeth's head hurt and the feeling of something she forgot took over her mind again. She painfully squinted her eyes and put her hand up to her head.

Concerned,Gloxinia walked over closer to Elizabeth and examined her face."Are you alright?".

Elizabeth gave him a little smile"Yes I'm alright.Just a little head ache."

Gloxinia,still concerned,motioned her towards a chair.".You look light headed.You should sit down."

The goddess sat down on the chair and the pain in her head slowly fade away. The fairy sat across from the goddess in the other chair."Are you still suffering affects from that attack?"

Elizabeth shook her head."It's really ok.I haven't been having any head aches or feeling light headed until now.I wonder why...."

Gloxinia poured some tea into two of the tea cups that Ludoshel had left."It might have something to do with the memory loss. You might of heard something that reminded you of something but you had forgot and that could be the cause of the head ache. Here drink this."

Elizabeth took the cup and took small sips from it."Something I forgot.....I wonder what it could be."

The red haired fairy took a sip from his tea and looked at the goddess."Don't let it trouble you that much. The memory loss is only temporary and you'll soon remember whatever it is you have forgotten."

The silver haired girl nodded her head."Well that's good to hear I suppose.Oh,how is your sister Gearheade?"She asked, trying to lighten the mood. But as soon as the goddess had said that Gloxinia had choked on his tea.Elizabeth quickly stood up.

"Are you alright Gloxinia?!"She was about to go over to him when he put his hand up.

"Please don't worry I'm fine. The tea just went down the wrong pipe is all."

Elizabeth sat back down in her seat but still was worried about her red haired fairy friend.Gloxinia knew Elizabeth was going to ask if he was alright again so he quickly answered her question from before."My sister is doing great. She is improving in her magic and can now grow a small tree."

Elizabeth clapped her hands in delight."That's great to hear.I would really like to see her again soon."

The fairy smiled at the goddess."How about tomorrow?I can invite Drole and you can even bring Meliodas with you if you want."

Elizabeth laughed at the fairy."I can't believe you actually want me to bring Meliodas. Are you finally warming up to him Gloxinia?"

The fairy turned a small red and folded his arms."No I do not want him coming to my forest again but if it makes you happy I will allow it.Also I am NOT warming up to him!"

Elizabeth giggled and nodded her head. She looked out the window to see the sun was now setting."It's getting late.I should head back before Meliodas comes searching from me.Goodnight Gloxinia I will see you tomorrow!"

The fairy waved back at the goddess as she closed the door behind her. When he heard the footsteps of the goddess finally fade away he let out a sigh and put his hands on his head.

What had he gotten himself into?

Elizabeth slowly opened the door to her and Meliodas room. She looked around to see him asleep on the bed.She slowly and quietly shut it and got dressed into her nightgown. She slowly slithered into bed to make sure not to wake up Meliodas. After a bit of shuffling around she finally slept quietly in the bed. When Meliodas was certain Elizabeth was asleep he turned his body over to face her.He stared at her sleeping face and pushed her bangs to the side.He looked at her with a pained expression and pulled her into a tight embrace. The day he feared was slowly approaching and knowing how little time they had left together hurt the demon. He didn't want to lose his only ray of light.Lying in the bed with the sleeping goddess in his embrace he made a promise to himself.

He wouldn't let a single thing hurt her.No matter how strong that thing maybe.

He will always protect her.
