Cooper drove home (That's right, dogs can drive too. Just watch the commercials!). He parked his black Lincoln Navigator in Grace's driveway and knocked on the door. Grace looked through the peephole and let him inside. Cooper bowed his head gratefully.
"How's Phoebe?" he asked. "Still in the Purse Palace?"
"Uh, no," Grace replied. "She's not. I...I lost the map of the Purse Palace, and now it's just a regular purse." Grace muttered. Cooper's eyes widened. No Purse Palace!?
"Can I see Phoebe?" Cooper asked wearily.
Grace led him to Phoebe's new room in her house. Cooper thanked her, knocked, and went inside. Phoebe was panicking.
"Phoebe, it's ok. Sure you don't have a place all to yourself, but I have good news." Cooper comforted Phoebe. "I made enough money today to get us our OWN place!" Phoebe's eyes widened at this. The tears that were once dampening her fur were now dry. She didn't even ask how he made enough money to buy a house on his first day of his job at MCDONALD'S.
"Come on, I'll take you to look at some apartments, it'll be fun!" Cooper exclaimed. Phoebe agreed to go. This will be fun! She thought. I'm gonna get my own place with my true love! Phoebe sighed dreamily.
