Cooper and Phoebe were in two separate bedrooms because they both liked to stretch out to the width of a whole bed.  The bedrooms were right next-door to each other, though.  In the morning, Phoebe's fur was a tangled mess.  Her bedsheets looked as if they had been strangled multiple times.  Her sleep mask was only halfway across her face.  She pulled off the sleep mask and set it on her bedside table.  She fixed the bedsheets and made her bed.  She leaped off her bed and walked over to a small walk-in-closet to get dressed.  She looked in the mirror and was horrified.  Her fur was sticking up EVERYWHERE!  She shook her shiny coat and it was as good as new.  She looked through her closet and analyzed each article of clothing she had placed inside.  After evaluating the temperature, and the activities she was going to do that day, Phoebe chose a sparkly pink collar with a diamond studded pink tag with her name and address (which was now 46307 Orange Grove Apartment Complex CIN, OH).

Cooper had just woken up, too.  He rolled over and checked out his limited edition Batdog digital alarm clock.  It was 10:00 in the morning.  His alarm was set for 10:15, so he buried himself back into the covers and tried to get the 15 minutes of extra sleep.  After a while of falling asleep, he heard the alarm.  His Batdog clock howled and flashed the Batdog Signal in his face.  He smiled and took off his Limited Edition Batdog Hero Mask Sleep Mask.  He made his bed and shook his fur.  He walked over to his tiny walk-in-closet and began leafing through his clothes.  Like Phoebe, he analyzed each article of clothing and evaluated the temperature and the activities he was going to do today.  He chose a Batdog T-shirt but froze.  He knew Phoebe wouldn't like his room to be completely decked out with Batdog wallpaper, pillows, comforters, toys, and movies.  He began to pace, distressed, wondering what he should do in the situation.  He decided to be himself and if Phoebe didn't like that, she didn't actually love him.  He slipped the Batdog t-shirt back on along with a pair of ripped jeans and black shoes with white laces.  He picked up a black baseball cap with the Batdog Signal (a bit like the Batman signal, but shaped more like a dog bone, with pointy dog ears) and put it on facing backward, his signature style, and headed to his bathroom (located at the back of his room, Phoebe also had her own personal bathroom at the back of her room) to freshen up.

When Cooper was finished showering, trimming his fur, going to the bathroom, brushing his teeth to pearly white perfection, and combing his tangled fur, he went to the kitchen to have breakfast with Phoebe.  He walked into the kitchen and opened the pantry.  He couldn't find the official licensed Batdog Cereal, and he was sure he had packed it.

"Hey, Phoebe!"  he blindly shouted.  "Have you seen my Batdog Cereal?"  He crinkled his nose.  He knew she must have taken it.  He knew he seemed like a dork, but he loved Batdog, what could he say?

"Bits cover gear!"  she replied, her mouth full.   She swallowed.  "It's over here!"

"You're eating my Limited Edition Batdog Cereal!?"  Cooper yelped, hyperventilating and sending himself into a tailspin.  "I only have that box and one more box, and then I have NO more!  It was LIMITED EDITION!"

"I love Batdog, too." Phoebe whimpered.

"Oh, I'm sorry Phoebe.  This is ridiculous.  I love you more than I love Batdog.  I was so insecure that you would think I was a dork, that I undecorated my room that was completely Batdog-ified."  he blushed.  He walked over to Phoebe and nuzzled her ear.  "How about we share some of this cereal?"

They licked each other affectionately, then poured two bowls of Batdog Cereal.  The new life they had together was great.
