I woke up the next morning to a clown face. I had forgotten to take off my make up before I went to sleep. I went to the bathroom and scrubbed my face. After a while it finally came off. When my face was clean, I went in my room, put on the straightener and did my hair and make up all over again. When I was done, I got dressed in the most appealing thing I could find and went shopping.
I went into stores that I've never been in before, stores that had clothes that showed a lot of skin, or a lot of cleavage, but that is what I wanted. I bought so many out fits I couldn't count. I got so many shirts, shorts, pants, and anything else you can think of. Hey, I needed my clothes to look hot too right?
After I was gone shopping I had around twenty five bags. My arms were killing. I was so relieved when I finally got to my car. I filled the trunk and the back seat of the car. While I was bending down to put a bag in the very back of the trunk, I heard someone whistle at me. I stood up and looked around. It took me a minute, but I finally spotted the person that did it.
He was so cute. He had dark hair and he was muscular. I looked him up and down.
“Hey baby!” he screamed
I didn't say anything, instead I smirked. I had seen a lot of girls at my old school do that.
“Maybe I'll see you around sometime, huh sexy?” he yelled from across the lot.
I waited for a minute the said “Yeah, maybe.” before I blew him a kiss and got in my car. I turned the key and sat there for a second. That was the most flirtatious thing I have ever done in my life.
I backed out and went home. I went right up to my room and put all my clothes away. After I was done, I went to open my window, when I say some guys down the street playing basketball. They all looked very cute, but I was nervous. I couldn't just go up to them...could I? No. I couldn't. Just then my dog walked in and jumped on the bed. I began petting him, and I got any idea.
I opened my closet and got on one of my new outfits. Then I got my leash and decided to take Ace for a walk. I walked down the street slowly. When I finally got to them, I saw them all look. They didn't say anything until I was almost past the drive-way.
“Hey. Nice dog.” one of them said.
“Thanks.” I said, but kept walking.
Then another one said “What kind is it?”
“A chow-chow.” I said, still walking away.
Just as I was about to pass the drive-way, someone else started talking. “Hey, did you just move into the house down the street?”
I finally stopped and turned around. “Yeah. Why?”
I saw all of them look me up in down. One of them, smirked when he saw me. The one that asked the question started walking up to me. His friends soon followed.
“Well, I'm Jake. I live here. This is Danny and Eric.” he said point next to him.
“I'm Megan.” I said simply.
“Nice to meet you.” they all said almost at once. Then they looked at each other and started giggling.
I just nodded my head and turned around, to walk away when the one I think he said was Eric said something.
“Megan, we are playing a basketball game over here, and we could use an audience. Interested?”
I looked back at him. I wasn't sure what to say, but I remember this girl, Aubrey say to always act uninterested...so I did. “No, not really.”
“Come on,” he insisted. “I'll even have Jake get you a drink.”
I sighed as if he was talking me into it. “Fine. Just let me take my dog back home and I'll be back.”
“Okay.”
I walked away and when I was close to my house, I think I heard Jake say “Your dumb dude, she isn't coming back.”
I smirked at that. I walked inside and let Ace go. My mom asked where I was going and I said to the neighbors. She didn't even say anything about my new clothes, which was good. I didn't want her to.
I grabbed my phone and walked back down there. When Eric saw me he got a 'I told you so' face. I tried not to giggle at that. He pulled up a chair for me and he actually even got me a drink. I sat there and crossed my legs, playing with my phone trying to look uninterested, but honestly, I couldn't have been more interested. I kept glancing up to see them run up and down the drive way.
When the were finally done, Danny was complaining about how Jake won.
Eric looked at him “Man, you know Jake always wins, but still you always complain, get over it.” Danny didn't say anything back.
Eric went up to Jake and gave him a 'bro hug' “We gotta go, see you Monday?”
“Yeah.” he said
Eric came up to me then. “And will I see you on Monday too, beautiful?”
I tried so hard not to blush, no one besides the people in my family has ever called me beautiful. “Yes.”
I said quickly, then regretting it. “I mean...if your lucky.”
“Yeah,” he smirked at me. “Hopefully I'm lucky then.” After he said that, Danny came up and said bye then the both left. I stood up out of the chair. Jake was just standing there not saying anything...it was so awkward. I didn't know if I should say something or not. After a minute of silence, I finally spoke up. “So, your pretty good at basketball, huh?”
“I'm okay, they just think I'm so good because they suck.” I laughed at that. “You didn't seem that interested in the game.”
“Eh, I glanced up a few times.”
“Yeah I saw that. So do you like it here so far?”
“Actually, yeah. I'm loving it.”
“Good” he smiled. “Hey do you wanna come in? I mean it's really hot out here. If you don't I understand.”
I looked at his door. I was really nervous but I said “Sure.”
I followed him inside. His house was beautiful and big. He opened the door to what I assumed was the basement and started leading me down the stairs. “This is my bedroom/ living room.” he said
I looked around. “Nice.”
“Thanks.” he said walking up to his closet. He took out a shirt and set it on the chair. “Do you mind if I change my shirt? I mean I will go in the bathroom if you want.”
I swallowed. “No your fine.” he smiled. “Okay.”
He lifted up his shirt reveling his 6pak. I saw his muscles bulging out. And then he picked up his other shirt and put it on. I turned y head to make it seem like i wasn't looking.
He sat down next to me. “You seem cool as fuck.”
I laughed. “Thanks”
“No problem.”
Just then we heard the door open and close “Jake” someone from upstairs called. He looked up at the ceiling and sighed.
“My parents are home, and they are going to be pissed if they find out I havn't done my history project yet. I hate to say this, but you should go.”
I stood up. “Okay, no problem.” I started walking to the door when he called me back.
“Listen, tomorrow after school I'm having a couple people over. My parents arn't going to be home all night, so if you want to come over then, that would be cool.”
I smiled at him. “Okay. Sure.”
He nodded. “Great. I'll see you tomorrow.
“See you tomorrow.”
When I got home I went upstairs, closed the door behind me and fell on my bed. I knew I was going to like it here.
