Chapter 24

Kaitlyn POV:

Bela is literally one of the most kindest person ever. She was absolutely amazing and gorgeous. I can't wait to hang out with her again. In fact, this weekend we (Jaeden, Sophia, Finn, Wyatt, Jack, Jadda and I) are going to the beach. It was Bela' s idea. "Bye Kait see you this weekend" Sophia said giving me a hug. "Bye Soph" I replied hugging back. I walked down the side walk to my mom's car. "Jason's upset right now, so you better behave " my mother told me. I just nodded my head. Who is Jason you might or might not be wondering. For those who are, Jason is my step father. My real dad died when I was 4. At first I liked Jason, but after awhile, his true colors were exposed. He gets really mad and aggressive. My mom hasn't left him because she says she loves him to much to leave. She might love him, but I know he doesn't love anyone but himself. "We're here" My mom said as she got out. I took a deep breath and opened the door to get out. As I walked in I could already hear them two arguing, I just ran up the stairs and into my room. Once I got to my room I shut and locked it. This definitely wasn't the first time they have argued, sometimes it would last hours. I hate when he's here, he makes it miserable for both me and my mother, mostly me. My mother claims that they are in love, the brain washed her, she wasn't  the same. I took my shoes off and later down. Maybe I can sleep through this. When I was almost asleep my phone started ringing, I look over to see who it was. Jaeden? Why is he calling me? Not that I mind it's just, I don't know. I go to answer it but then someone started banging on my door, making me jump. I try to decline the call and then go and open the door a little to see who it was. It was Jason. What does he want? "Jas-" I was about to ask what he needed when he slammed it open making me fall. He laughed, I could smell the alcohol on his breath. "What do you want" I asked trying to get up. He pushes me back down and my back hits the wall hard. I hissed in pain. What the actual fudge man. "I want you to leave. No one wants you" He snarled. "And what would happen to me"
"Don't know and I don't fucking care"
I'm hurt, this was a guy I looked up to and saw as a dad. My eyes started to water and the next thing I know I'm balling my eyes out. I get up and grab my phone and phone charger and run downstairs. I see my mom on the couch watching a show. "Mom, Jason said I had to lea-" "I know, it was my idea" She smiled wickedly. "What" I ask hurt. She smiled wider and nods. This was not my mother. I mean she was never the best mother, but at least then she acted like she cared and loved me. Or acted as if she did. I run out the door and it's pouring down rain. Not to mention it was dark outside. I get my phone and call Sophia. She doesn't answer. I call Jadda. Same no answer. I then call Bela. It goes straight to voice message. Her phone must be dead. Then I call the last person I could think of, Jaeden. He pick up on the second ring.

"Hey Kait"

"H-Hey Jae um i-if you're n-no-not just c-could you maybe p-pick me up o-or s-some-somet-thing p-pleasee"

"Yeah of course Kaitlyn what's wrong"

"I'll explain w-when y-you get h-here"

"Okay I have my perment so I'm going to come and get you, okay?"

"Ok I'll s-send you t-the ad-address, bye"

"I'll be there in 5 minutes"
