Alternative Ending pt 4

Kaitlyn's POV

Today was the day we were leaving for our Christmas vacation in Colorado. You would think we would just take a plane right. Nope. Angela thought it would be simpler for us to take a bus there. We would get to enjoy the 'experience'. The 18 hour long experience because they lived in Atlanta (idk if that's true) and we are driving to Colorado.

Since the little make out session Jaeden and I had we have been quite close, closer than before. Not that I have a problem with it though, honestly I enjoyed the attention he gave me. As if on cue Jaeden walked in my room with Sophia right behind him.
"You ready to go" Jaeden asked leaning on the door frame as Sophia squeezed by him to get in the room.
"I think so" I replied looking around the room to see if I forgot something. "The rest of the group arrived. Let's get on the road." Sophia said smiling before taking my arm and dragging me past Jaeden who sent a wink when I looked at him. Little things like this happened casually during the day that it was almost normal. Almost.

"I'm finally ready guys, are you all ready to get going"

"Hell yeah lets go" Jack screamed.

"Jack remember no cursing around me" Angela said with a playful glare walking out the door.

"Oh yeah, sorry Angie" He blushed with embarrassment.

We all grabbed our belongings and walked out the door to the bus that was in the driveway. The bus was beyond just fancy. There was 3 sections to the bus the first section was a place for the bus drivers since there was 2. The second section was a lounge area with a mini kitchen. It had a pull out bed which was wear Angela was going to sleep. The third section had bunk beds for all 8 of us that had a curtain for privacy. Hailey, Chosen and Jeremy couldn't make it like they thought they could. I was especially upset that Hailey couldn't come but I did get to hang out with her before she left and she got to meet the losers as well. The third section included a small bathroom with just a toilet and sink.

We put the luggage and bags at the back of the bus in a storage container. "This is crazy, a bus ride for 18 hours, damn" Jaeden said once we put our stuff up and was now sitting in the lounge area. "I know. A 18 hour bus ride with Jack. He can't keep quiet for 5 minutes unless he's sleeping" Finn joked as we all laughed. "That's so...... true actually" Jack laughed.

"Okay we're about to leave the house you sure you have everything" Angela said walking on to the bus. We all replied yes then we were off. I think she said we're stopping at at least 2 rest stops to get some fresh air and get whatever we need that we didn't have already. I honestly can't even wrap my head around this. Just almost 2 months ago I was just a girl with a problematic boring life, now here I am with a very well known group of kids going on a trip to Colorado. Wow.

"Kait you there" Bela said waving her hand in my face.
"Oh yeah, sorry, what were you saying" I shook my head.
"We were just saying that since it's fairly early we should watch a movie or 2" I just nodded my head smiling. We left around 5:30 PM so we had time to spare before getting some rest.

"What type of movie though" Sophia asked.

"Anything that isn't cheesy" Jadda piped in. Wyatt agreed.

"We can watch a horror movie first and then a comedy movie second" Jaeden suggested shrugging his shoulders.

Eventually we came to an agreement on 'Lights Out' for the horror movie which I personally loved the movie. And for the comedy movie 'Grown Up 2' which was Jack's idea. Angela went to the front of the bus to hang out with the female bus drivers. I have no idea how she's going to manage with the 9 of us teenagers. Now that I think about it that's probably why she had gotten a separate cabin.

The space inside was still a bit tight so the lounge had a 2 love seats. Obviously it wasn't going to be enough for all 9 of us, so Wyatt and Jadda were on one while Bela and Finn were on the other. I think something might've happened between them two because they recently had gotten a lot closer. She would giggle at little things he whispered to her or they would hold hands under the table thinking no one noticed. But Sophia and I both noticed and would wink at her and she'd turn a bright red. They were cute.

We made a little cushioned pallet on the floor to lay in for the rest of us to sit. Jaeden looked at me patting the seat next to just him motioning for me to sit there.

"Hey Kait sit over here" Sophia said. I could literally here Jaeden scoff in his head as he silently glared at her. I just smiled and nodded. The way we were sitting it was Me, Sophia, Jack then Jaeden. As the movie started I could see Jaeden looking at me. I chose to ignore it not trying to have the others notice. Through out the whole movie I could feel him looking at me obviously looking for some sort of attention for me. I decided to look over for a second just so he could smirk. I rolled my eyes. The mind of this boy. Trying to focus on the movie was just not a possibility. It just wasn't going to the happen.
"Hey I'm going to the bathroom" I whispered to Sophia who just nodded. Making my way to the bathroom I decided to change to get a little more comfortable. I shut the door to bunk room before removing clothes and makeup. As I finished putting on a pair of shorts the opened. Mind you I didn't have a shirt on or bra. I quickly turned towards the wall before pulling my oversized shirt over my head.
"Oh god sorry" I heard Sophia say behind me. I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding. Thank god it wasn't one of the boys. "I thought you were in the bathroom, my bad" She apologized again as I turned back around.

"Your fine. What'd you come in here for anyways"

"I was coming to plug my phone up. But since you're in here and we're alone I have a question to ask you"

"Shoot"

"Is something going on between you and Jaeden you two have been a lot closer lately. Also I seen him staring at you basically the whole movie. Is there something I don't know?" I sighed any time is as good as now.

"Well we sort of had a little make out session. But that was it other than a few winks and kisses on the cheek here and there." She hummed before looking at my appearance. Then her eyes go wide.
"DID JAEDEN GIVE YOU A FUCKING HICKEY" She whispered yelled. My eyes goes wide to. I had removed the makeup from my neck that was concealing the barely fading mark. I quickly put my hand over it before blushing red.
"Maybe?" I admitted shyly. She squealed lowly.
"So are y'all like dating now"

Shrugging I said " Honestly don't know he didn't say we were. We can talk about this later let's get out before they notice how long we've been gone" She playfully glares at me before walking out the door me trailing behind her. No one seemed to notice our absence. As I sat down I took my hair out of the bun it was in to cover my bruised skin. Jaeden looked over seeing me trying to hide it with the same dumb smirk on his face. Oh how I wish I could slap it off of him. Not really but still. As the movie came to an end I looked to see Bela, Jadda, Jack, Wyatt and Finn all asleep.  Did they really find it that boring. "I'm going to wake these losers up to go there beds if y'all want to finish the movie you can I'm going to head to bed" Sophia whispered to me before doing what she said. One by one they all left the lounge area. Now it was just Jaeden and I since Angela was still away. I looked over at him before putting on the next movie to break the silence. As I went to sit back down Jaeden stopped me by bringing me to his lap as he was sitting on the love seat.

"What do you think you're doing mister" I said looking back at him.

"What ever do you mean, princess" My breath hitches as he turns me around on his lap, now facing him.

"You're so beautiful Kaitlyn" He barely whispered before leaning in to kiss me.

It took everything in me to not groan at the contact. God have I missed his lips. I move my lips in sync with him, lacing my hand through his hair. As we start to deepen the kiss I hear Angela in the other room saying goodnight and to the bus drivers so I quickly get off his lap and sit down next to him.
"What's wrong, why'd you sto-" He was cut off by Angela walking in. "Hey guys I'm going to bed" She said smiling. We nodded before getting up and walking towards the room still trying to catch our breath from our heated moment.
"That was close"

"Too close" I laughed along.
We got into the room and gave each other one last kiss before heading towards the bed.
"Goodnight Kait"

"Goodnight Jae" I yawned before drawing the curtains back and falling into a deep slumber.
