Best Night Ever

As Connor and me get back to camp Mr. D just has to say this. "Emily, Camdon, why are you late?"
"Uh, well, we, uh..." Connor tries to say something. I have no idea what it was though.
"I was being attacked by this guy," I pointed to Charlie. " And Connor came to help. I had everything under control though. I kinda tamed this hellhound and I think, he thinks I'm his owner."
"Not a good enough explanation." I fume with anger. "You two will have to clean the stables, the dishes with the harpes, and do the chores for any cabin you choose." Connor and me groan. "Do I need to add more to your punishment?"
"No...sir." I say.
"Emma, Connor choose the cabin you would like to do chores for." Chiron said.
"Uh, I choose Hades cabin." I say. I hear a groan from the crowd. "Nico would you like me to choose a different cabin?" No talking no nothing.
"Poseidon's cabin."
"Very well. You do the chores for those cabins starting tomorrow."
"Yes sir." Connor and me say at the same time. Then we walk off together. "The Aphrodite kids are probably shipping us right now." I say.
"Yeah, I don't care though."
"Why not?" I say disappointed.
"I have you and my friends and that's all I need."
"Have you ever wondered what it would be like if we were a couple though?" I ask.
"All the time. Why do ya' ask?"
"Oh just wondering."
"Do you want that to happen?"
"Uh..." I manage to say.
"Oh sorry. I didn't want to offend you. Sorry."
"No Connor you're fine it just that well. Uh... I just was surprised. I mean no one has ever asked me out. Sorry if I'm rambling I do it when I'm nervous."
"That's okay I do it to. So what do ya' say? Yes, no?"
"Yes. Connor I, I've had somewhat of a crush on you but I didn't know if you had a crush on me so I didn't say anything."
"Well Em I had a crush on you. I would have been so happy if you knew but I did know if you had a crush on me either. I didn't ask you until tonight because of how you uh, well, kinda hugged me when we were riding Charlie."
"I would've said yes either way."
"Well, uh here's your cabin. Bye." I didn't know what I was doing but I kissed him for just a second no longer then that. "Uh..." Was all he could say. "Night Connor." And with that I walked into my cabin.
