"Why is she sleeping on the floor with a book basically in her shirt?"
I pop my eye open at Nudge and Max's nagging.
"I couldn't sleep this morning and when I went to grab a book, I ended up sitting on my butt and reading myself to sleep." I state, stretching and popping my back.
"Well, the doctor is waiting for the okay to come up here and do the ultrasound. You have five minutes before Anne sends him up." Max says and leaves the room with Nudge.
"So you actually sat down, realised you shouldn't try getting up, and read until you fell asleep on the floor instead of waking me so that I could help you up?" Fang says, squatting in front of me and I grin as he pulls me up.
"You know me so well! But I must interrupt with the fact that I have to go pee." I say and shuffle to the bathroom, ignoring his chuckles.

By the time I have exited the bathroom with brushed teeth and an empty bladder, Anne is setting up a bunch of equipment with a very creepy looking man.
"I can't read his thoughts. That means he doesn't have a brain." Angel mind whispers while I notice he has no aura.
"Anne, can I talk to you for a second?" I say and said woman gives me a confused look, but none the less, excuses herself and joins me in the hall.
"Where did you find this guy?" I ask and her eyebrows raise.
"One of the doctors that works for the agency, but he is new." She says and I facepalm.
"He doesn't have a life force, nor does he have a brain. I sense no life and Angel can't read his mind. Therefore, you hired a robot." I state and she pales, quickly whipping out her phone and informing someone of her newfound knowledge.

Within 20 minutes, the robot is dragged out and Anne is apologizing for almost putting me in danger and I am growing very annoyed.
"It doesn't matter! Now, Nudge, you want to learn how to use an ultrasound machine?" I yell and said bird kid bounces into the room, full of excitement.
"Nobody is ever going to be able to tell you no." Max mutters and my smirk grows.
"Nobody has ever been able to tell you no either, except one person. Angel." I say and everyone looks at the curly haired blonde before nodding in acceptance while ignoring her mischievous gaze.
Nudge just walks over to the machine, hovers her hands over it for a couple of seconds until she grins and grabs the gel, waiting for me to lie on the bed.
The moment I lay down, though, my stomach painfully tightens and everyones eyes are saucers while I feel like I'm dying.
"Do the thing so that I can figure out what just happened." I basically whimper as kicks are visible on my now seven month sized stomach. Nudge quickly does so and faces the screen towards me and when I see it, I groan.
"You know, it never occurred to me that they would be shifters." I mumble and start rubbing my belly in hopes of calming them enough to get them to stop moving or maybe even shift back to being the size of a baseball.
"Shifters?" Anne questions and I sigh.
"It has been about two years since I did it, but I can shift into a wolf. I am a genetically modified werewolf." I mutter and look back the screen realizing some extra bones.
"Well, it is official, they have wings as well." I state and the bird kids cheer........ Except for Fang who removes my hands and starts to massage my belly.
"Do you think you would be able to move around better if you were in your wolf form? It would probably carry the baby weight easier as well." Iggy suggests and I frown.
"I could try to shift, but I have never tried to. It was always an induced thing." I state and Max shrugs.
"I would try anyway." She states and I nod a little, deciding to start by sitting up, but with the help of Fang.
"Alright, everyone, how about we leave Fang and Belle here while we go clothes shopping?" Anne suggests and they all nod while Fang and I shrug before giving a sigh of relief as they all shift back to being baseball sized.
"Let us go then." Anne says and they all leave, once they are out of the house, Fang looks at me with determination.
So cuuuuuute.
"How do you want me to help with this?" He asks and just stare at him.
"I have no clue. Maybe help me lay on my side on the ground?" I suggest and he quickly does so.
I close my eyes and focus until cracks fill the room for less than a second and I am suddenly even more hyper aware.
"Yout did it!" Fang says excitedly and when I try to squeal in excitement, it just comes out as a high pitched yip.
"Right, you can't speak, but does this make is easier for you to walk?" He questions and I wobbily stand up before walking away while nodding.
"Then lets feed you since morning sickness does not affect wolves.... I hope."
