"Come on Mason, hurry!" I exclaim, practically bouncing with excitement as I stand by the front door.
"I'm coming, baby." He chuckles as he walks down the stairs. "I don't think i've ever seen somebody this excited to go to school." He kisses the top of my head once he reaches me.

"Okay, okay." He shakes his head with a smileon his face. As we walk out the door, he wraps his arm around my shoulders."You look pretty."
I blush and look down at my outfit. "Thank you."

"Carter!" I exclaim, after stepping out of the car once we've reached our destination. She's standing by the front of the school, facing the opposite direction until I called her name.
She smirks as she makes her way over. "What's up bubbles?"
I squeal and wrap my arms around her. "I've missed you." Carter only tenses up at my contact, not returning the hug.
