After giving my new boss the tour of our company I was happy to be rid of his presence and back in my office doing what I was paid for, work.
As I starting sorting files here comes my Assistant Nadine, I know what she's interested in.
"Sooooo what happened between you and hunka hunka?" She says all excited
" I have no idea what you're talking about, nothing happened" I replied while slamming files on my desk
"Well from the looks of it something happened, either you tell me or I'll tell you what happened" she says
"What do you mean you'll tell me ?" I say confused
"Well word is, that you and Mr. Hunka Hunka were stuck in the elevator for quite a while and you were found in quite compromising positions", she says sassy
I stare at her speechless thinking
How did word get around so fast?
"Sweety , sweety you know word doesn't get around without me knowing look at you hiding such important info from me, you sly little kitty",she says laughing
"First thing stop calling him 'Mr Hunka Hunka' ,second it was only ten minutes and god no we weren't in any positions, he threw me on the floor after I was freaking out about being locked in the elevator" I said angrily
She starts taunting me by saying " you seem a little tense should I tell the new boss you need his touch".
She laughs and somehow I can't help laughing with her. Suddenly the mood changes and she looks at me half serious half concerned.
"Kathy do be careful but try to have fun for once," she says and walks out the door
Be careful and have fun could I do that? Seems like too much of risk to take
But one thing I knew I needed to stay clear of Christian no matter what.
