A/N Hey guys, you know how I said that this book will be based on a true story? Well I've decided to switch it up a bit because I have a great idea. Don't worry I didn't lie, it is based on a true story. Just most of it isn't true of you know what I mean. But the way I describe seeing this person and what I feel is totally real. I wanted to describe exactly how I feel in real life. And the bit about being in the same class and being next to each other is real. And so is the part about getting all nervous and red faced (thats so embarrassing when that happens.) Anyway. I just wanted to say that what happens next is not real so don't worry this didn't really happen. And most of what happens won't be true but it is still based on a true story, the true story just didn't exactly have the same ending...or middle. Okay. Thats enough blabbing. Lets get into the story.
"HE WHAT!" Sophie screamed. It was so loud my ear drums almost burst.
"I KNOW!"
"Wait tell me again. Maybe I just didn't hear right!"
"BAILEY JONES KISSED ME!"
She screamed again, even louder than the first.
"I can't believe it! I mean no offence it's just...," she struggled for words.
"He's Bailey?"
"Yess!!! I'm so happy for you."
"So am I. But now what happens?"
"What do you mean what happens? He kissed you?" She asks confused.
"Yeah but like...he didn't exactly ask me out. So do we go back to never talking or do we all of a sudden spend every moment of our days together."
"'scuse me? There is no way that Bailey is going to replace me. You're supposed to spend every moment of you days with me. Don't let this new boyfriend ruin us."
"I won't, don't worry. Wow. Boyfriend. I have a BOYFRIEND. That sounds so weird!"
"I know. Who would have thought. Emma has a boyfriend," she says in a teasing voice.
We laugh together.
"Just promise me that he won't take over your life," she says.
"Okay. I promise," I say sincerely.
And I mean every word.
