"Excited for science today?" Sophie asks.
"Hell yeah," I reply excitedly.
"Yeah well don't get our hopes up," Sophie teases.
"I'm not!" I say defensively, "Like he's even going to talk to me."
We walk towards our lunch table. Once again I've got boring old mac and cheese.
Sophie looks at me scared.
"Whats wrong?" I ask.
Sophie replies, "Look who's walking this way."
I stare ahead and see who she's looking at. Oh no. Oh god. This isn't going to end well. Walking towards us is Will Caindher. He may be gorgeous, but don't be fooled by his looks, he's only the biggest dickhead ever! He's tall, huge in fact, with long, dark brown hair and a great body. All the girls can't help but love him. Not me and Sophie though, we aren't ignorant like them. He glances at me as he walks past and shoves Sophie into me. We both fall extremely ungracefully on the floor and our food flies up in the air and lands on us. Perrrrfect. Will and his gang laugh as they strut away.
"Ew," Sophie says in disgust as she picks spaghetti out of her hair.
It's all over our clothes, in our hair and on the ground all around us. Luckily people didn't laugh. They just kinda made disgusted noises. I'm not sure if they were meant for us or for our food.
"Do you need a hand?"
We both look up and staring down at us with those beautiful blue eyes of his is Bailey.
"Yeah, that'd be great," I say.
Bailey reaches his hand out to me and I grab it and he swiftly pulls me up.
"Need a hand?" he says again to Sophie.
"No I think I'm good," Sophie says as she pulls herself up, trying not to interfere with mine and Bailey official meeting.
"I don't think we've exactly talked before," he says, "I'm Bailey."
"Uhh yeah, we sit next to each other in Science. I'm Emma," I say back. I can't help but stare into his beautiful eyes, and every time he talks my eyes immediately divert to his gorgeous lips.
"Yeah. Well. See you in science," he says cheerfully and walks off.
"Bye," I reply.
I slowly turn around to face Sophie.

"Emma are you okay?" Sophie laughs, "that must've been intense."
I nod my head and gulp, "Uhuh."
"Really? Because you're starting to look a little pale."
I look up at her smiling widely, "Did that really happen? Did I really just talk to Bailey?"
She laughs again, "You sure did."
"This is the best day ever!" I squeal.
