Chapter 10

The four of you walked down the street towards the guild. "We should all get some breakfast!" Lucy exclaimed.

"We'll meet up with you later. Her and I have something to do." Gajeel said taking your hand and leading you away.

You waved at them as you left. He slipped his fingers between yours as you walked. "I still owe you a date." He smirked.

He led you up to a small café. It was a cute green little building with a pink and white banner that read 'Magnolia Café'.

"This place is so cute!" You clapped your hands together. 'Though this looks like the last place Gajeel would go.'

He smiled as you looked the place over. "Come on, they have great scones that rival Mira's." He boasted. "But don't tell her I said that." You giggled and entered the Café.

You walked up to the counter and ordered a chocolate scone with a vanilla latte. Gajeel ordered a vanilla scone with black coffee. After Gajeel paid and you got your food, you both went to South Gate Park. He led you to a giant tree in the center where you both sat.

"Wow this view is beautiful Gajeel." You took a bite of the scone and your face lit up. "Damn! This is delicious!" You exclaimed with your mouth full of food.

"Its not much of a first date, but I figured until I can take you somewhere nice, it'll do." He ate his scone in two bites. You looked at him astonished then looked at your scone. 'How?'

"Don't look so surprised, they're not that big." You looked at him then your scone again.

"I think you just have a big mouth." You laugh. He glared at you and growled slightly.

"Oh calm down, I was just kidding." You nudged his shoulder with yours.

"Shorty you're gonna get it if you're not careful." You cocked an eyebrow at him.

"Yeah what are you going to do?" He thought about it for a moment.

"Finish your scone and you'll find out." He said threateningly.

You smirked and surprisingly finished your scone in three bites. He stood, picking you up over his shoulder. "W-what are you doing? Put me down!" He laughed.

"Nah, for the next week I'm going to carry you everywhere." You groaned remembering what you said last night. 'I regret everything.'

Gajeel carried you towards the guild. On your way you met up with Lily and Bastet. "Where have you two been? Bastet and I were worried about you." Lily crossed his arms looking very stern. You finally wiggled your way off of Gajeel, much to his displeasure.

"Sorry guys. We were at my place last night. We uh... had some things to discuss." You rubbed the back of your head.

"Some things to 'discuss' huh?" Lily teased.

"Y-yeah." Your face flushed.

Gajeel wrapped his arm around your waist. "Talking wasn't all we did. Geehee" You face palmed as your face got warm and violently red.

Bastet was confused at the situation. "Well what else did you two do then?" She asked.

"Do not answer that!" You demanded through your hands.

Gajeel picked you up again, this time bridal style. "Come on let's get to the guild." You glared at him through your hands. He just smirked at you. "If you don't stop, I'll tell it to the whole guild as soon as we enter."

"Y-you wouldn't!" You looked at him annoyed.

He laughed and kissed your head. "I would, but only if you continue to misbehave." You groan and lower your hands.
