When Wendy and Gajeel entered with you, the guild looked relieved. Other than your guild mark glowing, you felt fine. You just needed some water.  Gajeel placed you in a chair and sat next to you.

"What happened?" You looked at him.

He was slightly hesitant on answering you. "Well... it's hard to explain." He growled trying to find the words to describe everything.

"I'll tell her." Erza sat on the other side of you. The whole guild was there and they stopped what they were doing to listen.

"When that man grabbed you, it was almost as if he started fusing with you. We all panicked, but I cut his arms off out of pure instinct. I wasn't sure it would honestly work." She paused, slightly smiling to herself.

"We got Wendy and she started healing you. While you were out we contacted the guild and the council. So far only our guild has shown up." She finished explaining.

"What happened to those other guys though?" The thought of them made you shudder.

"We aren't honestly sure. We just know it had to do with whatever that man did." Gray said with his arms crossed.

You knew the guild master could manipulate people, but you weren't sure if this had to do with him directly. You sighed and laid your head on the table. This whole situation was just messed up.

Makarov came and sat at your table. He looked at you and Erza. "Gajeel, Gray. Please leave us." They nodded and walked away. Anyone who was surrounding you also walked further back.

"Yajima had recently made a will. He didn't tell me why, just entrusted me with it. I think he knew that this was coming." His face was long and he didn't know where to go from there. "I... I think we should take him where he wanted to be buried." He was having a hard time keeping it together.

Erza got up and patted him gently, trying to comfort him. It didn't really seem to be working. You got up to walk away from the awkward moment, but fell. Romeo helped you up back into the chair.

"You should be more careful, (y/n)." He smiled at you.

"Uh... yeah, thanks." You gave a weak smile back.

"Are You okay Ms. (Y/n)?" Wendy asked.

You nodded and laid your head back down. "Just tired I guess." Wendy looked at your chest.

"Ms. (Y/n), your guild mark isn't glowing anymore!" She seemed happy about that. You weren't so sure though. Something didn't feel right.

"Is something wrong?" Erza looked at you concerned. You shook your head.

"Just glad it's not glowing anymore." You gave a small smile.

-Small time skip-

The council finally showed up close to midnight. Makarov was rather peeved. Jura talked to him privately, then came back in to question the rest of you.

"Is there anything you know that may be of use?" He asked you specifically.

In all honesty there were many things, but none you cared to share. You shook your head looking down. Gajeel knew you were hiding something and it ticked him off. He waited until everyone was gone to talk about it.

"What aren't you telling us?" He said accusingly.

You sighed. "It's not that I'm not telling you, I'm just not completely sure." Guilt was still welled up inside you about Yajima. "Gajeel... I feel responsible for his death. That note was a sign and I-" He held you tightly, running his hand lightly up and down your back.
