I was puzzled by Aslan's early behavior. I layed in bed that night thinking about it over and over. I finally fell asleep but it was far from peaceful.

I was kneeling in chains at the side of the White Witch. I couldn't move at all. There were creatures everywhere. Minotaurs werewolves and alot more. They were dressed in battle armor and they were armed with wicked looking weapons. I saw Aslan walking up the stone stairs looking very grim. He was being taunted by the Witch's forces.

"Behold the Great Lion!" she announced.

Her general looked at her. She nodded and he knocked Aslan down. He didnt try and get up he just layed there.

"Bind him!" she commanded.

Several creatures stepped forward with rope. They bound his paws togeather and his mouth shut.

"Let him be shaved," she said.

They cut his mane and threw the peices into the air.

"Bring him to me," she ordered.

They dragged him up onto the stone table and tied him down.

"Now Aslan I'm a little disappointed in you, did you honestly think you could save the human traitor?" She asked.

"You are giving me you're life and saving no one, uh so much for love," she continued.

"Tonight the deep magic will be appeased, but tomorrow we will take Narnia forever!" She announced.

"In that knowlege and despair, and die!" she screamed. She sank the knife into his heart.

"No!" I screamed and sat up.

This nightmare was alot worse than the others. Tears were rushing down my cheecks and I continued to cry. I think deep down I knew it was true, but I didnt want to belive it.

I climbed out of my bed and changed into my armor and tunic and slipped on my boots. I grabbed my sword and my bow with my quiver and threw my cloak on.

I was still crying as I walked out. The sky was getting lighter as dawn approached. I stood outside Peter's tent with Oreius and Edmund. He was talking to a tree spirit. He walked out of the tent.

"She's right he's gone," He said. I had told him about my dream.

"Then you'll have to lead us," Edmund stated.

"Peter there's and army out there, they're ready to follow you," I urgred.

"I can't," he argued.

"Aslan belived you could, and so do I," I replied.

"The Witch's army is nearing Sire, what are you're orders?" Oreius asked.

Peter gazed down at the battle map.
