We raced to the river that we had to cross. I saw it slowly breaking away.

"We need to cross now!" I yelled.

"Don't beavers make dams?" Lucy asked.

" I'm not that fast dear," Mr. Beaver said smiling.

"Hurry!" Peter urged Lucy.

" Can we just think about this for a minute?" Susan askined stopping.

"We don't have a minute," Peter yelled.

"I was just trying to be realistic, " She argued.

"No you're just trying to be smart as usual," Peter said and kept walking.

She stood there and glared.

"Come on Susan we don't have time for this, after we cross you can be mad at him all you want," I said and she reluctantly followed.

In the distance we heard howling and went even faster.

"Wait maybe I should go first," Mr. Beaver suggested.

He moved his way on to the ice testing it with his tail in different places.

"You've been sneaking second helping haven't you?" Mrs. Beaver accused.

"Well you never know which meals going to be your last, especially with your cooking," he replied.

We started to make our way onto the ice slowly making our way across. Wolves started to box us on to the ice.

"Run!" I screamed.

We started to run but it was no use they had us trapped on the ice. Beaver tried to defend us but a wolf tackled him and held him there.

"No!" Mrs. Beaver screamed.

I drew my sword along with Peter.

"Put that down boy," Morgrum growled coming closer.

"Someone could get hurt," He continued.

"Don't worry about me run him through Willow!" Beaver screamed.

It seemed right then Morgrum noticed me.

"The humans along with the Guardian, nice to see you again Willow," He growled.

"Leave now while you can and you're brother leaves with you," Morgrum growled.

"Stop Peter maybe we should listen to him," Susan yelled.

"Mm smart girl," Morgrum said.

"Peter dont listen to them Narnia needs you, they need a King," I urged.

"This isn't your war all my Queen wants is for you to take your family and go, but she does have special interest in the Guardian," He said.

"What's it going to be son of Adam I won't wait forever and neither will the river," He continued.

The water fall started to break and spew water.

"Peter!" I yelled. He looked around frantically.

"Hold on to me!" He yelled.

He raised his sword over his head and drove it into the ice. I sheathed my sword and held onto his arm with Lucy. The water fall exploded in to water and chunks of ice. We remained on the piece of ice, but Lucy was dragged off by the current. In a split second decision I dove in after her.

The current dragged us both down in to the river, I grabbed a hold of her and pushed off. We resurfaced farther down the river. We climbed out and looked around.

"Willow you saved me!" she yelled and jumped into my arms.

"Well yes it's my job," I replied.

"I think you would have done it even if you weren't the Guardian" She argued.

"Lets get you back to your siblings," I suggested.

We walked back, towards her brother and sister.

"Lucy, Willow!" They were screaming like we just died.

"Has anyone seen my coat?" Lucy asked.

They looked up at us with so much relief.

"Where were you?" Peter asked.

"I fell off the ice and Willow jumped in and saved me," Lucy explained. Peter went up and hugged Lucy while Susan hugged me.

"Thank you so much Willow, " She said and went to hug Lucy. Peter came up and hugged me to.

"What would we do with out you Willow? " He whispered in my ear.

"Probably die," I said shrugging then laughing.

We started to walk again when Mrs. Beaver spoke up.

"I don't think you'll be needing those coats anymore. "
