Let's get down to business. (To defeat the Huns) So I totally scrapped the prologue and chapter one and rewrote them from my scattered thoughts. Yes Willow will stay mostly the same. She will still have the same powers and looks and some of the same story lines. I have also decided who her love interest will be. I did take you comments into consideration and I did think long and hard about this. However you will have to wait and see. I have finished the prologue and first chapter. I will post them down below because I am not sure if I want to change anything yet and I want your guys feed back before I go and really take out the originals. So please give me your feed back and comment. If you guys like it I'll go back and try and make it longer.

Prologue
Winter should be fun. It should be full of snowball fights, snowmen, ice skating, and hot chocolate. No that's not what it was like here at all. It was blistering cold, the land was bare, there was hardly any food, and we were being ruled by an unfair and harsh women named Jadis. She called herself the Queen of Narnia but others called her the White Witch, for that's what she was. She was a vile women who had no right to rule Narnia or control the individuals that lived there. She was the one that created the hundred year winter and it was not the fun kind. She ruled with an iron fist and many were to scared to oppose her.

There was a group however, that was brave enough to fight against her. This group of rebels was led by a girl named Willow. She knew the what the White Witch could do, she had seen it first hand.

When Jadis first took over Narnia, there were more Narnians that wanted to fight against her. And they did, they fought with all their might and all their heart. But sometimes even that's not enough. Willow's mother and father were killed in the battle of the Shuddering Woods. She was only a young girl at the time and she was sadly left alone. She had no other family and in the midst of a war not many could afford to help her.

That's when her luck began to change. A great king, the rightful king of Narnia stumbled upon Willow one day. Seeing the poor girl alone, he chose to care for her as his own. He raised her as his daughter and trained her has his apprentice. Once Willow completed her training the King bestowed on her some of his power. At the age of seventeen Willow stopped aging all together. She would not age again until she knew in her heart that she wanted to. Along with no longer aging she was given the ability to shapeshift. Willow put those powers to good use by helping Narnians in trouble and really just trying to piss of the Witch. Willow found great joy in making her angry.

Jadis was more than furious with Willow. She of course knew who she was and hated that Willow always found a way to get under her skin. Even it was something as small as jumping one of her patrols.

Chapter One
Willow was walking through the forest towards the Beaver's dam. As she walked she stretched out her arms, moving them in a circular motion. They were sore for their last attack against one of the White Witch's patrols. It was supposed to go smoothly, it did until one of the rebel fighters named Lily went down with a bite from Maugrim. It caught the rebels off guard and they were overcome for a few moments before they finally got it under control again. She was pulled from her thoughts by the sound of bells. She furrowed her eyebrows and pulled a face. 'Why are there bells in the middle of the forest?' she asked herself. Her eyes widened in alarm when the thought finally hit her. She took off in a run and slid behind a bush just as the Witch's sleigh came into view. She watched as it passed her, but it slid to a stop a few yards from where she was hiding. She shrank closer to the ground fearing she had been seen. She saw Jadis' little lap dog Ginnabrik hop down from the sleigh and run towards something. She couldn't make it out through the bush but she saw Jadis step down and walk towards the dwarf. A moment later she began walking back towards the sleigh, but this time she saw a boy at her side. Willow's eyes widened so much they looked like they would pop out of her head. It was a human boy! There shouldn't be another human in Narnia, well besides her. She turned around and crawled to a tree a few feet away and stood up. She peeked around the tree to see if it was clear. Jadis and the boy were seated in her sleigh their attention on each other and the little lap dog was fixated on the tray that they were holding. Willow took this time to turn and run back the way she came. She continued on towards the Beaver's dam, the snow crunching beneath her boots. Her mind was still racing when she reached the dam. She knocked three times and stepped back to wait. The small door flew open and Mrs. Beaver ran forward and hugged her leg.
"Willow! We were so worried! We got word hours ago that the plan didn't go the way it was suppose to and we thought the worst!" The small beaver rambled as she hugged her leg tighter with each word. Willow smiled down at her, Mrs. Beaver was a very kind creature that was overjoyed every time she saw Willow.
"Mrs. Beaver I'm fine. We just had a small mishap and we got it under control before it could get worse." She explained.
"Well I'm just glad your alright. Come in I've got some tea ready for you." Mrs. Beaver led Willow into the small dam. They walked into the kitchen and the first thing Willow noticed was Mr. Beaver leaning back in a kitchen chair, a book resting on his chest, his head hanging back, his mouth open, and loud snores coming from it. She smiled and looked at Mrs. Beaver who only smiled back and shook her head chuckling. Willow took a seat at the table and a cup of tea was placed in front of her. She jumped as Mr. Beaver woke with a start. He sat up and looked around wildly his eyes landing of Willow. His face broke into a smile.
"Willow! How'd it go?" he asked. He sat up and scooted his chair in closer to the table.
"It was fine after we got Maugrim off of Lily." She looked down as the picture of the boy flashed in her head.
"If everything went fine, why do you look so shaken?" He asked. Mr. Beaver may not look or act like much but the small beaver was full of surprises. As he asked Mrs. Beaver looked up from what she was cooking.

"I um... I was almost caught by the White Witch herself." She said. Mrs. Beaver dropped the wooden spoon she was stirring with and walked up next to Mr. Beaver, both were now paying full attention to her.
"I hid before she could see me but I saw something. Actually I saw someone." Both beavers were now leaning forward in anticipation.
" I saw a boy... A human boy." Mr. Beaver was leaning so far forward in his chair that he fell face first into the table and onto the floor. He popped back up almost immediately.
"A what?! Do you know what this means Willow? It's time, Aslan will return!" He spoke quickly and Willow only blinked at him. She nodded not saying anything. She was still trying to wrap her mind around it. If Aslan returned that meant that the prophecy was being acted upon, and that meant that it was time for Willow to assume her role that Aslan expected her to.
"Willow, do you think you're ready?" Mrs. Beaver asked softly. Willow could only nod. The truth was she didn't really know if she was or not, she hadn't seen Aslan in many years. She had tried to do as much as she could in order to stand against the Witch. She has succeeded in starting a rebellion and gathering followers to oppose Jadis, she just hoped Aslan saw it as enough. She stood and made her way to the door, the two beavers following.
"Thank you for the tea, I'll come by for another visit soon." She told them. They nodded and wished her a good night.

Willow stepped out into the cold night air, for once the stars and moon were out and shining above her. She sighed to herself knowing that things were going to start changing and fast. She began walking towards her home, passing many trees on her way. She still couldn't see why some of them were on Jadis' side. She couldn't really understand why anyone was on her side. She concluded that some people didn't have a reason for being evil besides the fact that it was their mindset. She looked up as she approached her small cottage. It wasn't much but she didn't need a lot since it was just her. Built onto the side of her small cottage was a small two stall stable, it only held one horse though. A head appeared through the stall and Willow smiled. "Hey Talon." She approached him and stroked his neck. Talon's coat was a dark chestnut color with even darker stockings and a white blaze down his nose. Willow had raised him from a colt and they were almost inseparable. Willow reached into the bucket hanging on the outside of the stall and pulled out a carrot. He instantly snatched it from her and gave her a winnie in thanks. She smiled as him and gave him one last pat before heading inside. As soon as she opened the door she was greeted by a meow. She looked down and saw River her black and white cat rubbing against her leg. She bent down and picked her up. River nuzzled her neck and began purring. Willow carried her into her room and placed her on her bed. She began the slow process of peeling off her armor piece by piece. She tossed each piece into the corner before huffing and plopping down on her bed. She decided she would get up in the morning and get cleaned up, she could barely keep her eyes open at the moment. She yawned and rolled onto her side, River crawled up next to her curling up under her arm. Soon both were sound asleep.
