We had been walking awhile the next day. When we stopped on a small land bridge. We stood there looking over only some of Narnia.
"Its so big", Susan said in disbelief.
"It's the world dear did you expect it to be small?" Mrs. Beaver asked.
"Smaller," She replied.
We had been walking a long time and we were crossing a frozen lake.
"Come on humans while we're still young," Beaver urged.
"If he tells us to hurry one more time I'm going to turn him into a big fluffy hat," Peter said offering Lucy a piggy back ride.
"Hurry up come on!" He urged.
"He is getting a little bossy," Lucy agreed.
"No behind you its her!" I yelled and they took off running me pulling up the rear.
We ran into the woods to find some place to hide. We found a small little cave, where we huddled together for a long time.
"Maybe she's gone?" Lucy asked.
"I suppose I'll go and check," Peter said.
"No you're worth nothing to Narnia if you're dead," I said stopping him.
"Neither are you Willow," Peter argued.
"Thank you Peter but I am the Guardian," I said crawling out.
I stood and walked around the small cave to see Father Christmas standing there smiling widely at me.
"Hello Willow it's been to long," He said and I ran up and hugged him.
"Now where are the children?" he asked gesturing to his toy bag. I smiled and gestered for him to wait. I decided I would have some fun. I climbed on top of the cave and popped my head in to the cave.
"Guess who's here to see you?" I asked laughing.
They climbed out and their eyes widened as Father Christmas laughed.
"Merry Christmas sir", Lucy said stepping forward.
"It certainly is Lucy now that you've arrived," he said smiling widely at her.
"Look I've put up with alot since I got here but this?" Susan said looking at me.
"We thought you were the Witch," I said explaining
"I thought there was no Christmas in Narnia", Susan said stepping forward.
"No not for a long time but the hope that you have brought your majesties is finally starting to weaken the Witch's power," I rolled my eyes at that. I was never really a hopeful person.
" Still I dare say you could use these," He said. He pulled out his toy bag.
"Presents!" Lucy exclaimed and ran up.
"The juice of the fire flower, just one drop can cure any injury. And I hope you never have to use it," He handed her a small dagger.
"I think I can be brave enough," She said.
He reached into his bag and pulled out a quiver loaded with arrows and a beautiful bow.
"Susan trust in this bow and it will not easily miss, and if you have a problem making yourself heard blow on this and help will come," He said and handed her a horn.
"Peter time to use these," He said and handed him a sword and sheild.
He drew the sword.
"These are tools not toys bare them well, winter is almost over and things do pile up when youve been gone a hundred years, Long live Aslan" And with that he was gone.
"Told you he was real," Lucy said smirking at Susan.
"Wait he said winter was almost over, you know what that means? No more ice," I said.
