The sky was a brilliant blue and the ocean was sparkling. The centaurs, fauns, and others were clad in ceremonial armor blaring trumpets as Aslan and the Pevensies walked down the rows. I stood at the top of the stairs that lead to the thrones. I was very happy and proud of how far they came.
"To the glistening Eastern sea I give you Queen Lucy the Valiant," Aslan spoke clear.
Mr. Tumnus followed by the Beavers carrying the crowns walked forward. Mr. Tumnus picked up a silver crown decorated with silver leaves and vines, and placed it on the young Queens head.
"To the great Western Wood I give you King Edmund the Just," Aslan announced.
Mr. Tumnus picked up a beautiful silver kings crown and placed it on Edmunds head.
"To the radiant southern sun I give you Queen Susan the Gentle," Aslan proclaimed.
Me. Tumnus us picked up a golden crown decorated with golden suns and placed it on Susan's head. She looked up to him with kind eyes.
"And to the clear northern sky I give you King Peter the Magnificent," Aslan's voice seemed to grow louder as he announced the high kings name.
"Once a king or queen or king of Narnia, always a king or queen of Narnia. My your wisdom brace us until the stars rain down from the heavens," Aslan declared.
"Long live king Peter, long live King Edmund, long live Queen Susan, long live queen Lucy," the crowd chanted as did I. The crowd erupted into cheers.
As the coronation ended the celebration ended. Lucy was standing on the balcony over looking the beach. I followed her gaze and saw Aslan walking along the beach. I thought back to the conversation I had with him earlier about not always being here. I saw Mr. Tumnus walk up and start talking to her. I knew he would come her down and I walked away.
'Everything's perfect' I thought. 'But how long would it last?'
