Truth and Lies as the dead Arise

I ground as I fell onto my bed. It has been about two weeks since I went to the fight with Tyler and we seem to be growing closer well at least half of the time. When we where in the gym or with just Liz, Ryn and a few others we would talk and have normal conversations but school was a whole other story. He hardly spoke to me at all there and it was beyond frustrating!

I sighed as I stud up and walked to look out my window. I did it every night but I haven't seen the Zombie once. I held my breath as my hand reached for the curtain. Come one Night, all you have to do it jerk the curtain back. I took another deep breath and jerked the curtain to the side. My eyes scanned the forest and the breath that I had been holding slowly came out. Nothing but it didn't really soothe me either. Was I crazy and imagined that Zombie? I shook my head I fell onto my bed. All I need is a good nights sleep.

My eyes flew open, every muscle in my body tense as the hairs on the back of my neck stud up. Something was wrong. I slowly stud up and made my way over to my window. My hand shook as I reached out only to freeze before I could even touch the curtain. If I open this and there is nothing there I am officially insane. Before I could lose what little bravery I had left I jerked open the curtains. All the moister in my mouth dried up and my body became as stiff as a bored. My hazel eyes glared into a pair of red, hunger-filled orbs. Zombie but not the same one. This one was female with long greyish brown hair that was knotted up and had black goo coursed in it. Her skin was a dull grey but grey enough to make me hate the color forever and her teeth were sharp and black lips pulled back into a snarl.

I glared back with a snarl of my own. I wasn't going to let fear control me even though it flowed throw my veins so fast my body seemed on fire. The women let out a scream that sounded like something out of a horror movie and ran towards the house. I was about to freak when she ricocheted back and landed on the ground. My mouth dropped a bit. She couldn't get onto the property but why? She snarled at me again and limped off into the woods. I fell to the ground. What the heck do I do now?

The morning was rough, to say the least. I got no sleep after what I saw so I trudged down the stairs at seven only to slump down in my chair. I felt a hand on my shoulder and I jumped. "Woo, hey its just me," Liz said.

"Oh, sorry," I muttered.

"You okay? You look half dead," Liz said crossing her arms. My mouth tightened a bit at the statement. Never had that saying sound so revolting. I looked at her only to frown. She had a fresh batch of bruises, bruises that she didn't have when she went over to Tyler's house last night. The same night the zombie were out. I ran a hand throw my hair frustrated with my own thoughts. I'm good at staying calm, only if I understand what is going on around me. "Isabella? Hey!" Liz snapped. I jerk back to look at her. "What's going on with you?" She asked.

"Nothing," I muttered. She frowned but left it alone. I dragged my feet into school and leaned agents my locker with a sigh.

"Bella?" A deep voice asked. My eyes open only to see Tyler right in front of me. His lips were turned down in a frown as he looked me up and down. Guys! Don't they know with that look it practically screams 'you look like a mess!'. Instead of yelling what I was thinking I looked him up and down. His knuckles were wrapped in bandages, there where scratch marks and bruises on his arms and a new bump on his jaw as if someone punched him.

"The nicknames new," I said.

"Whats going on with you? Liz called me worried, which is saying something about her, saying you were jumpy and excused," Tyler said crossing his arm over his chest.

"I'm fine," I said turning to walk to my class. Tyler grabbed my waist and gently pushed me back. "Ty, please."

"Look who's using nicknames now," Tyler said.
