EDITED.
MACK BERNHARD
I settled into the house quicker than I would've expected. How couldn't I when the place was built for royalty? It had ten bedrooms and 7 bathrooms, which meant I finally didn't have to share a bathroom with my disgusting twin brother who frequently used my toothbrush to brush our dog's fur. We have lived here for about two weeks and still no sign of the ICONic Boyz, but I was too excited about the fact we were going to have dinner with our next door neighbors tonight to care. My mom said they have a kid my age, so if all goes well I will finally get to stop playing COD with Josh and Bryan as a boredom relief.
I dressed simply, a nice shirt, skinny jeans and a pair of vans.
"Mackenzie, you could have at least pretend to like being a girl for the night!" My mom gave me a once over as she walked out the front door, shoving an extremely nice looking cake in my hands as she linked arms with my father and they walked down the driveway.
"It's Mack" I muttered under my breath as Carter came up next to me and took a fingerful of icing from the cake.
"Nothing can beat mom's cooking when she's trying to impress people" He said as he licked his finger and tried to go in for more icing. I shoved the cake into Bryan's hands and smacked his finger, to which he put me in a headlock and began ruffling my hair.
"Stop you little shit! It took an hour to get my hair this straight!" I screamed at my brother as me approached the neighbor's front door, my head still under his arm.
"Did Mack just say something somewhat girl-like?" Josh walked up on the other side of Carter, a handful of Mom's cake in his hands.
"Oh great, now Carter armpit stench and mom are going to kill me" I said, trying to plug my nose with my hands.
We heard the front door open and all froze as we saw a beautiful woman looking at us in pure shock. Our parent's turning around and their eyes popping out of their heads from what they saw.
"Hi" All four of us chorused. Bryan had the remain's of my mom's cake on his shirt, Carter still had me in a headlock with my hair messed up and my hand pinching my nose closed, and Josh had cake all over his face and squeezed inbetween his fingers.
"hello, nice to meet you, I'm Christine" She held out a hand to shake all over ours, stopping when she got to Josh, "hold on, let me go get the rest of my family" She chuckled uncomfortably and gestured for us to come in.
"Carter, get your sister out of a damn headlock boy!"
MADISON ALAMIA
i stepped down the stairs to see my mother, father and two brothers standing there.
"Be careful with them kids, their children seem to be a little...off" Mom said as all five of us walked down the hallway to the front corridor of the house. Just what we needed, more freaky neighbors. We just got rid of the crazy vegans and now we have a family with four insane sons.
"This is my husband and my three sons, Justin, Madison and Spencer" My mom introduced us to the family, and that's when I saw her. She was smoothing down her hair while whispering and glaring at her older brother, and she looked amazing.
"I thought they only had sons" Justin whispered to me and I just nodded, to stunned to talk.
"Im Alice and this is my husband, Jack, and my kids, Carter, Josh, Bryan and Mackenzie" The mother spoke, but all I could do was stare at the girl.
"Mom," She groaned out, "Call me Mack please" She said and finally took a chance to look at me. She looked shocked to see me as well, before whispering the words "Madison?"
"Have I met you before?" I asked, but already knew the answer. If my eyes had beheld someone as beautiful as her before, I would have remembered.
"No, no. It's just, I am kind of a huge fan of the ICONic Boyz" Her cheeks warmed instantly, obviously embarassed by the fact that she was a fan.
"Hey, nothing to be embarassed about, I love meeting fans!" I laughed and she chuckled nervously too, the tint in her cheek fading away as she started to relax.
"Come sit, sit!" my mother said.
This night was going to be fun.
