Non-spoiler review:

Recommended to everyone who likes politics issues and action drama. The suspense will always make you crave for the next episode. It doesn't have too much romance in it, tooㅡso if you want to have a break from romantic/cute kdramas, this is highly recommended! :)

Spoiler review:

I watched this drama thinking it would have romance (Lol) and also because I really love Eunji. When I heard about the role she would be playing as, I was like, Oooh! This is a role more mature than the ones she usually take.

But Seo Ira, obviously, ended up being an adorable prosecutor hahaha!

Anyway, I really hate politics and this is what the whole drama is about! *rolls eyes* But I still pretty much enjoyed it because when a drama brings out too many reactions from you while watching, means it's goodㅡright?

I didn't think I would enjoy it but yeah, it's good despite the lack of romance that I was hoping for.

The plot twists are good, too. I still don't understand what the hell Jang Beom Ho really wanted to happen between his sons? Like, did he really just wanna know which one would be better as his heir? Man, the oldie had a lot of issues.

Giseo
But let me tell you all this, I actually never hated Giseo. He came off with this villain vibeㅡtattooing women, greedy of power, corrupt, threatening to kill people, etc. but I felt bad for him. Before y'all scream WHY! Well, that's because I think if people around him didn't treat him like shit, he wouldn't have done the things he did.

Like, the way I saw it, if Giseo only lived a normal life, he would have been fine. It's the pressure of being Jang Beom Ho's son, of being brain-washed to be like his father, of the people of Bukcheon who looked up to his father as if he was a Godㅡthose are the things that drove him mad.

He loved Joonseo so much, but really, Joonseo had mostly been cold to him. Giseo's wife, Jagyeong, was even colder towards him. It's like everyone he loved didn't care enough about him. That's why I felt bad for him.

This is why Giseo didn't want his mistress (named Nana, if I'm not mistaken) to leave him. Nana was the only person who showed him that she cared. I think he only ever felt normal with her. That's why he trusted her.

Among all the criminals in this drama, I symphatized with him the most. We can see the good in him even though he was displayed as an evil character.

Joonseo
Y'all, I love Joonseo. And despite what I said that he was being cold to Giseo, I understand him because he thought his own brother killed his wife. And he knew how corrupt is his entire family.

I think Joonseo had the most difficult position in the drama. He was going against his own brother, his own father and all these powerful people in Bukcheon. And ugh, can I just say that I freaking love his lines when he talks back to the enemies? Lol. I've forgotten most of them but everytime I was likeㅡWOAH THE BURNNNN.
