We can all guess again that I watched this drama all because of Lee Minhyuk. ㅋㅋ

I wouldn't have watched it after reading the plot if not for him.

First of all, I would like to acknowledge Minhyuk's improvement in acting! If you would watch his previous appearances in dramas and here in Sweet Family, you would recognize the huge improvement he made.

Okay, so I liked this drama. To be very honest, I liked the family plot. I loved the main character (Yoon Tae Soo). He made me miss my dad. XD
But seriously, Yoon Tae Soo is father goalssss! I loved his principles in life and his courage to protect his own family. I loved him for turning a new leaf in the end.

Baek Man Bo was seriously creepy. He always acted so nice and all but I always really smelled something nasty about him, figured it's his personality. Lol

Baek Gi Bum-  ahhh, this man. Aigoo. Don't ever let him near me, I'm gonna throw a grenade on his face. *laughs awkwardly*
This character is so immature and irrelevant in so many ways. Never felt bad for him, FYI.

Kim Eun Ok

I was in a love & hate relationship with this character. I loved her love for her family especially for her husband. I love her priorities and how she was willing to do anything for her family.

But also, I hated that she was being too much about Sung Min. She wanted to control over his life which is not a good idea to have against a teenager. Yes, she wanted what was best for him but she also went overboard with it and that's this character's flaw.

Lee Do Kyung

Is it bad if I say I really wanted chop off this woman's head? (Ugh im a creep)

I really disliked this character. Really.
So what if she was gorgeous. She was too arrogant, too confident about herself. She was shameless although I appreciate her love for her daughter.
This character liked kissing on other people's asses to be in a better place.

LOVE LINE:

Sungmin and Hyunjee. Omg. My ship. My ship. My ship!!!

I loved these two. They were my happy pills. Hahaha they were so cute and always made my heart flutter.

I love how teenager-like they came off unlike other teenage dramas. The kiss scenes drove me insane. ASDFGHJKL

I loved Hyunjee's character! So straightforward and confident, but in a good way. I loved how she was always there for Sungmin and was never afraid to show how she felt.

I loved Sungmin's character too, of course. He's not the typical nerd from other Korean dramas. He liked studying, had his glasses on, topped the class but he was easy-going and was pretty confident although he did become shy in front of Hyunjee sometimes.

He made me cry alot too. ㅠ.ㅠ
I personally relate to some of his problems and when I relate, I cry. Hahahahaha

But I was hurt in her mom's place when he yelled at her. *cries* It's how I feel whenever I yell at mom and regret it later. I always did. XD

But seriously :'( Whenever Sungmin cried, I did too.

Final review:  I really liked this drama. It was so fun to watch yet frustrating in some way.

I didn't quite like the ending though. I feel like Baek Gi Bum & Man Bo needed to be punished as well as the other gangsters who betrayed Yoon Tae Soo.

I loved Tae Soo alot. I wonder if someone as kind as him ever existed in real life.
