We were sitting at the lunch table, talking about that strange Martha girl..

She was very pretty, but didn't intrigue me. She said she was part of the student council, and I think she was the Vice President or the Secretary, can't quite remember.

She seemed very nice, and Alex mentioned that she liked me.

Of course I knew that, it was just her body language.

She stuttered and blushed around me, and she always smiled or grinned.

Anyways, we had square pizza, pineapple, and potato wedges for lunch (legit what I had today at school).

It was gross, and most of the chocolate milk had brown splatters on the bottom of the carton (also at my school).

Alex has been really nice to me the past few days, and I think he's getting on to me.

Honestly, I'm not gonna lie. I like him. I mean- he's hot. He has a TURTLE! Did I not mention that? He has a fucking TURTLE. Somebody must have a turtle to make me love them, even if it's a GIRL.

But in our FaceTime last night, he showed me his turtle.

His name was John, and he named him after me.

He told me that he got it for Christmas, but didn't have a name for it. One he met me, he said he had the PERFECT name for it.

I think it's really cute that he did that for me. He's a really sweet guy.

Did I mention that he's hot?

TIME SKIP

It was the end of school, and Alex stopped me before I requested an Uber.

"Hey! John, would you like to come over to my house? I have nothing to do, (except for homework), and I'd like for you to spend some time with me after school." He smiled at me, waiting for reply.

I smiled back at him and nodded. "That would be great!" I said very happily, following him home. I twirled my hair as he held my hand to cross the street, for some reason he's scared of getting hit.

I find it very cute that he's easily scared.

We got to his apartment, and he unlocked the door.
