Chapter:17

I arrived Seoul after travelling hours in train.It was hard to say goodbye to Mom and Jisung but what could I do,I had to concentrate on my studies as well and college will resume from tommorow.However,I have no intention of going in the first day of college.I had to manage my books and other stuffs as I've been out of this apartment,I had alot of cleaning left to do as well.

But for now,I just want to lay in my bed.

I don't know what's going on Taehyung's mind.He hasn't replied to any of my messages neither he had picked up my calls.It's frustrating me a little bit but what if he is trying to ignore me!Everything was going fine but suddenly nothing feels right.There's nothing I could do to change this fact but I wish if I had some superpowers I could make everything alright!I was about to sleep still deep in thoughts,the door bell of my apartment rang.I instantly woke up feeling a new positive vibe thinking it must be him.

I smiled taking a deep breath before opening the door.

"Surprise!!"Jennie and Inha shouted engulfing me.

I was happy to see them but I couldn't lie a part of me was disappointed that it wasn't taehyung.

"We missed you!"They said in unison.

"I missed you two too!"I smiled at them before letting go of each other,"Planning to stay!?"I raised my eyebrow looking at the bags they were carrying.

"We are not going to attend college tomorrow anyway."Inha replied trailing behind Jennie who placed all the plastic bags full of snacks near kitchen counter.

"I think vacation ended too soon!"Jennie said before joining us in the living room.

"And I'll finally get to see Namjoon tomorrow!"Inha chirped in with excitement that just made us laugh.

"Still not over with that little crush!"We said in unison.

"How mean!"Inha pouted shooting imaginary draggers at us.

"That just reminds me of Seojun!It's all over,I dumped him last night."Jennie said gritting her teeth.

"Jennie!If he doesn't make you feel right,let him go."I said putting my hands in her making her smile.

"Because there are plenty of fishes in the sea!"we all said in unison and laughed.

Sometimes Jennie makes me worried.

She's not that type of girl 一 a girl who is desperate for relationships but her love relationships doesn't work out well.It's either she is the one who dumbs or he dumps.I hope this girl gets better luck next time but who am I to judge anyway when I myself haven't got in a relationship that has worked.It just reminds me of Taehyung.I actually don't know what we are or where am I standing in his priority list.

"Down to Earth!"Inha said snapping her fingers fetching me out of my thoughts.

"What were you saying?"I said a bit starled by her action.

"I know you're thinking about Taehyung!"Jennie smirks pointing a finger at me as if I was caught doing something wrong.

"How do you know?"

"She isn't even denying!!"Inha added making me snap out of my dumb answer.

My cheeks were getting hotter by the heat creeping in my face.I immediately tried to deny it but once a fuel has been added to fire,there's no going back.

"I knew you had something going on with him since you asked me for the first time about him!"Jennie said stretching her body before disappearing in the kitchen.

"Guess who isn't over with the little crush thing."Inha snickered sticking her tongue out.

"You can trust us!We will keep it a secret."Jennie winked at me coming back with the snacks in her hands.

"I know but it's kind of complicated!"I confessed heaving a deep sigh.

The three of us continued to carry on the conversation,gathering all the snacks before digging up.I told them everything that happened over a vacation but leaving the part about Jaehyun.

I'm actually not comfortable about the past I had with him and few people close to me know it.

The rest of the time went by laughing and teasing each other.Seeing them here makes me feel I'm nothing but grateful to have them.It feels good to have someone you can talk to and share experiences with.I would have felt lonely in this apartment all alone without having them in my life.
