Chapter:37

[3RD PERSON POV.]

Taehyung was in one of the park around his neighbourhood.After many battles going inside his mind,he couldn't stay at ease so he was trying to find solace at this park.The day was different than any other day,Sun was about to set in the sky.Birds were chirping and many children were playing in the park.The atmosphere was soothing and calm with the perfect amount of noise,he watched kids with a smile on his face.

"You came today too."a girl beside him chimmed in out of nowhere.

Not again,He thought to himself.

"Do you like kids?You know I love them too."She spoke again but this time in a child-like voice.

Taehyung was used to of this girl who would always follow him everywhere like a lost puppy.

"Yah why are you not talking to me."She then started to nudge him with her elbows before rolling her eyes playfully.

"Because I don't want to."he replied with a cold expression.

But the girl scoffed looking at him.Then it all went back to being silent again.She was also used to of his cold behaviour towards her.

Ever since Haneul broke up with Taehyung,he wasn't the same anymore.He barely showed his wide boxy grin when he's around the people who aren't close to him but he was still same for the people close to him.People always pretend to be someone else as a cover up for what they are truly feeling inside and Taehyung was one of them.

It's been months since they separated their ways but his feelings for her never changed.He still loves her but he hasn't gathered all courage to face her again.He still sees the girl in college but he tries his best to avoid crossing the same path.

He knows she has already moved on.

He saw her talking to Jaehyun that day,he saw how happy she was with him.

"Why do people love?"The girl beside him asked again snapping him out of thoughts.

He looked at her with a poker face.He didn't say anything,she always asks him stupid questions so he doesn't reply most of the things.

"When I was in my first year,You were so different."She said with a smile on her face,his gaze immediately fell at her.Her voice sounded so serious for the first time in taehyung's ear.

"Did anything happen to you?"

"Ari-"

"Choi Areum!"She corrected him before a pout replaced her smiling face.

"Whatever your name is!Stop trying to interfere in people's personal life.You know nobody needs you."he didn't meant it but somehow his deep voice came out harsh.

He immediately regretted his every words,he was expecting to see her cry but the girl smiled faintly before breathless of chuckles could be heard.

He was dumbfounded at Areum's behaviour.

The girl was a Second year student in the same college as him.He don't know how did he manage to gain her attention because this girl literally follows him everywhere.

Just like a lost puppy,he thought.

Taehyung couldn't lie the fact that he sees a mixture of Irene and himself in her.Choi Areum,the girl who has a 4D personality reminds him of many things.She tends to speak gibberish and sometimes her words doesn't even makes sense.The innocence her every part radiates makes her different.Taehyung would've thought that she was trying to impress him or get into relationship but he didn't because she didn't gave any hint of trying to do such stupid things.

She was pure and innocent like a child.Her kind and soft gestures for the people around made him believe that she was just a girl with pure heart.She didn't mean any harm,she was just being herself.Though there were times when he felt like he could throw her out of this planet but he still finds this girl interesting.

Her stomach grumbled making him chuckle a little but he suppressed it not giving a single glance at her.

"You already know that I'm hungry now,don't pretend you didn't listen."She folded her arms in chest knitting her eyebrows.

"So what?"

"Let's go to eat somewhere before I eat you."She threatened him before glaring at him jokingly.

Taehyung didn't want to argue with her any further so he stood up from the bench before walking the other way.

"Awh thank you."She trailed behind him jumping like a kid who just got a lollipop from her dad.

"But I ain't paying a penny."He tucked his hands inside the pocket of his jeans and a smirk was visible in his face.

"I know I know~"she sing sang behind him.
