Chapter:21

I was sleeping in my room suddenly I heard the door of my apartment opened.The sounds of footsteps were getting closer as if someone was coming towards my room.When I checked at my phone,it displayed 1:45 am.I hurriedly locked my phone when I heard the door of my room creaked open.

I doubt who it would be.I was about to shout,the light got turned on.when I looked ahead,it was Taehyung looking shocked mirroring the same expression as me.

"You scared me!"we both said in unison.

"I thought I was going to robbed today!"I breathed out in relief while he came towards me.

"What brought you here so so early in the morning?"I raised my eyebrow looking at him but he was staring down at his hands as if he was in deep thoughts.

When he remained silent,I asked him again,"What happened?"I brought his hands in mine.He didn't reply anything instead sighned heavily.

I think there was something wrong with him today.It wasn't his first time sneaking in my apartment at hours like this.l remember I gave him my spare keys as he would rang my door bell out of nowhere so I thought it would be better to give him keys than having the need to wake up and open the door.

I remember the first time when he came at around 2 A.M. and rang my door bell continuously.I was so angry at that time but at the end he managed to make my temper down.Since then,he would come here and bug me to stroll around the town at midnight.

'It feels free to walk at lonely nights!we would scream and laugh but nobody will tell anything.'was what he said.

I'm seriously dumbfounded at his thoughts.We have ate at restaurants with no customers at all and visited abandoned places at midnight.The memories are still fresh in my mind as he would laugh at my scared expressions when I would see something uncommon and scary at dark nights.There was a time when I thought a log was a vampire that would soon suck our blood and he still makes fun of it.He said me to have my eyes checked and laughed his ass off.

I never thought i would've done such things but with this guy,I did.

I heard him sigh for the nth time.I never saw him this nervous so I was really worried by now.

I squeezed his hand that I was holding."Are you Ok-?"I tried to smile at him but he hugged him instantly before I could even finish the sentence.

"I saw a bad dream!"he said in a low voice before tightening his grip around me.

"Taehyung!"I pated his back slowly and I can't help but smile at this boy,a grown up but still child at his heart.

"You little boy!"I mumbled but he just remained silent.

We let go of each other.

Having a closer look at his face,It felt as if he was trying hard to control his emotions.He looked so serious and it honestly made me scared.

"Promise me!"he said bringing his pinky finger in front of me.

"What?"I raised my eyebrow looking at his pinky finger.

"Promise me that you won't leave me."he said looking at me so seriously than before.

I smiled at him before bringing my pinky finger to intertwine with his.

"What are we? 4 or 5?"I asked again but I knew he meant it so I didn't take it any further.

"I promise to stay by your side forever.Even if I die,its you!"as soon as I finished the last words,he brought his free hand to close my mouth.

"Don't-!"he said in a deep voice staring at my eyes.

I smiled at him before nodding my head.

I know there's something wrong with this guy today so I didn't intend to go any further.Maybe he really had a bad dream,I wouldn't ask him though.

Maybe other day.

"We still have college to attend tomorrow."I said signalling we should sorry but he was just staring at me before his eyes went to my lips.My heart was literally going to come out any second with his intense stare.He slowly leaned to press his soft lips on mine,he didn't move it but it was rather gentle and so tender.

I didn't expect it from Taehyung as the kiss we shared were usually somewhat heated so it was a new for me but I couldn't care less because it felt as if it was made of love.

This guy is full of surprises.

We slept under the blankets without going any further,having his arms wrapped tightly around my waist and his head snuggled behind the back of my neck.It might sound unreal that we haven't gone any further than the frequent kisses and cuddling even after spending countless night together in single bed but it's true.

And I can't imagine him to even escalate things further than this.
