Chapter 12

Camile's POV

Our car ride was very short, we talked about me and my sisters music, singing , and a bunch of other random stuff.

"We're here!" said Austin happily as he parked the car right of Nandos

"Nandos? Why didn't you didn't tell me we were going here?" I asked

"I don't know, i just like surprising you!" he said as we walked into the restaurant

He pulled my chair out so i could sit down

"Well thank you Austin!" I said

"Your welcome!" He said

The waitress came over and took our orders then we were just looking at each other awkwardly

"You know this is my first date," i said

"What about your dats with Ricky?" He asked

"Well, he's a great guy, and all, but, it was just a kiss on the cheek, that's all." I said

"Ok yeah, you mentioned it in the palace earlier, why are you afraid?" he asked

"Well a lot of my friends have been through some horrible breakups and my grandma and my parents were also very protective of me, after all i do have 6 sisters" i said

"But then how would you get married? Or be loved?" he asked curiously

"I guess the only love i got or ever will get is from my sisters, friends, grandma, and my parents and now my parents are gone well i guess i just only have love from my sisters, friends, and my grandma. Then my grandma is going to step down to the thrown, and i will take over Genovia, my sisters are going to the US to apply to university, and my friends are in the US too, well i guess i'll never be loved again" i said while choking on the lat few words

"Hey don't say that! You are the strongest person i've ever met" he said "You're beautiful, kind, sweet, loving, and caring! And you will find someone amazing one day!"

I looked up at him with tears forming in my eyes

"Don't cry, i hate seeing you sad!" he said

"I'm not... sad" i said between sobs "It's just that, that's the nicest thing someone has ever said to me!"

He stood up and pulled his chair closer to mine. He gave me a massive hug and kissed my cheek

"Well i guess i'm lucky then" he whispered into my ear

Our faces were inches apart, i looked into his green eyes (idk his eye color is) and he stared into my brown eyes, we moved closer and ----

"ORDER'S HERE" shouted the waitress as she slammed the plates onto the table

We quickly pulled away! I just almost had my first kiss but NO the waitress HAD to ruin it!

"We should probably eat" i said awkwardly

"Oh... Uh yeah of course!" he said not knowing what to say

We both sat down in and awkward silence and ate our food

"Soooo..." he said

"Sooooo..." I replied

"Ready to go?" he asked

"Yeah!" I replied and we made our way to the car
