Wonderland

Chapter 4

Do you ever just get those days where you just want to stay in bed binge-watching Netflix and eat? Yeah well, I'm currently in that state. Yesterday Xavier came over, and Aura and Jake did too. We went to town and obviously ate because the food is everything. It's been about a month since Xavier moved, and it was finally summer break, the moment we had all been waiting for.

It's currently 10:30 and I'm halfway through stranger things. If you haven't watched it then you are insane, just saying.

"Anna you can't stay in bed all day," My mum says barging into my room, repeatedly tapping her foot on the ground.

"I can, and I will. None of the guys is coming out today" I lied, they've all tried to convince me to go on a camping trip.

"Anna we both know that's a lie, get ready their all downstairs" With that, she walked out. Why do my friends just walk in, how do they just walk in? I rolled over in my bed throwing the covers over my head.

"No, I don't think so"

"Aura... Fuck off"

"I know you ain't the morning person sunshine but we've got a long day ahead of us, and lover boy is waiting for you," Aura said the smirk evident in her voice.

"Who is lover boy" Slightly confused I unravelled myself from my bed rolling onto the floor and looking up at Aura.

"Xavier, Now get up get ready we are going camping" And off she went. I groaned loudly hoping they could all hear me. I led on the floor eyes dropping back to sleep. Realising I'm not getting out of this I walked to my wardrobe getting a bag for the trip. Every year the guys and I would go on a camping trip, full of laughs, a fire and ofc my favourite thing food. Ofc there is no wifi so goodbye Netflix, you will be dearly missed. I put on a pair of black skinny jeans, and my favourite jumper matched with my white converse.

I walked downstairs, bag on my shoulder as I grabbed my off charge. My friends were all sat lounging on the sofa, eating food chatting away to my mum. I swear they treat my house as if its there.

"Finally the princess is ready," Jake said. giving him my best glare I said goodbye to my mum. The car arrangments were Leo, Me, Xavier, Aura and Jake. And the others in the other car. I was in no mood for communicating so I put in my headphones and closed my eyes letting sleep overtake me.

Snickering could be heard as the car came to a stop, jerking my head up I felt a cold substance all over my face, I reached towards my face, the smell of ketchup overpowering my nose confusedly, I looked around the car, but no one was in it. Looking at my surroundings, I soon realised we were at the camping place. So they want to play this game that's fine by me. I opened the door silently and ran towards the wood part of the camping place, carefully stepping over the branches. When I was younger me and my dad had discovered this place, it had an amazing view, and a small waterfall just underneath. It was our special place until he left us.

Sighing, I continued to look out at the view, my phone abruptly rang in my pocket

"Hello?" I questioned

"Omg Anna thank god, where are you?" Xaviers worried voice carried through the phone, Aura loud screaming of my name.

"Me? oh, I'm at home, yeah just got a ride back" I joker, holding in my laugh.

"What do you mean you got a ride back, Anna are you serious"

"Yeah, my mum come and got me" I again lied.

"So why you lying to me we can clearly see you" I looked around and no one was here. I heard laughter as I looked down, they were all in the waterful. Rolling my eyes I brushed the dirt off my legs and walked back to camp. We all set up the tent, we always got a huge tent so we could all fit in together. The last time we came here I was happy with my now ex-boyfriend, who decided he didn't love me anymore and cheated on me. Great guy. Ryan was my first as some may say, Love and it broke my heart when I saw him kissing my ex-best friend.

It was around 8:30, the campfire was lit and we were all sat around laughing and joking about. My phone buzzed from my pocket, I grabbed it from my pocket and excluded myself from the group so I was able to hear.

"Hello, who is this?" I said confused as the number has not been saved on my contacts.

"Anna it's me, Ryan, I was just wondering since I was passing by, can we talk? I was confused about how he knew we were camping however I continued.

"Ryan I don't want to see you, you made your decision to leave me the day you were in bed with my best friend"

"Anna I'm here, just let me explain" He pleaded through the phone. I hung up, walking back to the group. I groaned to see Ryan stood awkwardly as Jake stood above him.

"I told you I didn't want to talk, get out of here," I said, not glancing back at Ryan, who desperately tried to reach out to me, frowning I walked away, wanting nothing more than to be far away from this place.
