Chapter 14: Sisters

Hermione's POV

I walked around school. Celestia didn't come back, and I was worried. I went to mum's office.

"Horcrux," I said. The gargoyle sprung aside and let me through. I went up and knocked. The door immediately sprung open. Celestia stormed out, her face red with anger. I looked at her and she gave me a death glare and stormed off. I sat in the chair across from mum's desk.

"Hi, sweety." She said. She looked a bit tired and sad.

"Mum, why was Celestia in here. She didn't come back and after she woke up from passing out, she glared at me, looked at George, then stormed out. What's the matter with her?" I asked. Mum sighed.

"I can't tell you that. I was sworn to secrecy. Celestia will have to tell you when she's up to it." Mum said. I shrugged and left. As I was heading back, my mind was reeling.

Celestia's POV

I went back to the dormitory and started crying. Everyone asked me what's wrong and tried to calm me down, but only Pansy got an answer.

Pansy's POV

I heard stomping up the stairs. Celestia came in and went on her bunk, underneath mine, and started crying. I went over and tried to calm her down enough to tell me what was wrong. Keyword here. Tried. She'd calm down, try to say something, then burst into tears again. Something was wrong. I knew that much by the look on her face when Hermione stepped into the room.

Hermione's POV

I walked into the room and Celestia gave me a death stare. Everyone looked confused. Pansy looked the most confused. Celestia, very slowly, got up and walked up to me.

"You ruined my life. Never come near me again." She said. I wasn't able to say a single thing as she walked out of the room. Pansy had a realization look on her face, gave me an apologetic look, and went after Celestia. I didn't know what to make of the situation. I just stood there as everyone went to go get ready for bed.

Pansy's POV

I raced after Celestia. She had grabbed a piece of parchment before running down to the common room. Blaise was as already there, tending to her. I gasped. She had a big gash on her arm. Believe me when I say it, you wouldn't want me to describe it. I ran over. I looked at the piece of parchment. It was a family tree. I gasped when I saw what was on it. I asked Blaise if he knew why she had it and why she had a gash on her arm.

"Well, I found her like this. She was bleeding, which I've stopped for the time being. When I saw the family tree, I knew she was in trouble. I couldn't carry her to the hospital wing by myself, so she's here for now. Can you help me? I know it's a half an hour before curfew, but she needs medical help, now." He said. I nodded. he took her top half, because of his self-consciousness. I rolled my eyes then took her bottom half. We hauled her out of the common room and to the hospital wing. Madam Pomfrey rushed over when we put her down on a bed.

"What happened to her?" She asked. Blaise told her. "Oh dear. Stupid girl. Just like her mother." She said. The fireplace blazed. Snape walked out of it, dusting his cloak. I gaped. Blaise didn't seem to be surprised because, for a third time, he told what happened.

"I thought this might happen, and I know exactly what happened. She was heading down the stairs when she passed out. The knife in her pocket flew out and cut her. How and why she passed out, I don't know," Snape said.

'Will she be alright?" Asked a voice. I turned around. It was Hermione. She walked over. "Everyone was looking at me weirdly, so I left the common room. I saw you guys and followed. Ginny's here too." She pointed behind her. Ginny waved at Blaise. I took a mental note to ask him about it later.

Celestia's PoV

It was dark I couldn't see a thing. My arm hurt, and I could hear voices talking about me. Was I dying? No. Was I asleep? No. Not that either.

Hermione's PoV

I looked toward Celestia and gasped. Everyone looked at her as well. She had opened her eyes and her arm was healing itself. Madam Pomfrey ushered everyone out, but Cel insisted that Snape, me, and Pansy stayed. She finally agreed and left. Celestia looked towards me. I got the hint and walked forward.

"I'm sorry that I said you ruined my life, even though you did, when you didn't even know why. Here,' She said, handing me a paper. I looked at it. It was a family tree. I looked at Celestia's gold line. I then saw a line leading from her dad to my mum down to me. I gasped. She touched my hand, and I passed out.

I sat up off the ground. So that was why she now hated me. I was the one-year-old, and my mum took me. The newborn, Celestia, wasn't even given a chance. I was sorry for her, and what could have been if it wasn't for my mum. I looked at her and the other two. They looked quite sorry, even Snape. Celestia was crying again. Silently sobbing in her bed. It was a sad scene that I had to get away from. I walked out of the hospital wing, ready to face whatever came at me.
