Chapter 21 – So sorry
Jillian’s POV
Jenn, Steph and I were currently browsing through clothing racks at the mall.
“So mama J, what are you going to do about Brittany?” Stef asked.
“Yeah, I’m starting to think you should tell someone.” Jenn added.
“I don't know.” I growled.
The girls dropped the subject, seeing as it was only leading to frustration.
“Hey, what about John?” Jenn chirped.
“And Dan.” Stef added.
“I smell a love triangle!” Jenn sang.
“I doubt it.” I answered. “I really don’t want to lead John on because I only see him as a brother, you know?”
They both nodded.
I got the feeling he had a crush on me but I didn’t feel the same.
“We completely understand.” Steph winked. “You obviously like Dan.”
I remained silent and looked down at my Keds.
Jenn shrieked. “Oh my gosh, you do!” She gushed.
I mulled over the thought in my head.
Do I like Dan?
Nah you just get butterflies when you see him for the heck of it.
Shut up conscience.
I took a deep breath of air and leveled my gaze to theirs.
“Yeah, I think I do.”
We shopped for a while until we got tired. I didn’t buy much, just a shirt and a pair of jeans.
Ping!
I fumbled through my purse and retrieved my phone.

Going on a business trip, won’t be back for a little while.
