Niall’s POV

After all the girls had sung, I turned to Harry. I was really struggling with my decision on who to choose. In the next twenty-four hours, I was about to make three girls’ lives better and yet, ruin three others.

Being on this side of the panel felt a whole lot different than standing in front of the judges and singing. i felt this great weight of responsibility and I couldn't decide whether I liked it or not.

“So what do you think? Anyone you liked most?” I asked Harry. His opinion was extremely important to me, he knew his stuff.

“I liked Daisy, she has a beautiful voice. I think she was my favourite.” A smile slowly crept up onto my face, I wanted him to say that. I don't exactly know what it is about Daisy that infatuates me, whether it’s her voice or just her, I just don't know.

“Yeah, I like her a lot, too,” I say, trying to keep the cool tone in my voice, “anyone else you liked?”

After thinking about it, they were all pretty damn amazing, apart from Melissa, her performance just wasn't quite where it needed to be. But was it because she was nervous? Or maybe just the wrong song for her?

“This is a tough one,” Harry scratched at the back of his neck before pulling his hand and rubbing his chin, “Rebecca is it? She was good, I liked her voice. Oh and I liked Kelly.”

“I really liked Leah as well.” I commented. After some more chatter about which girls to pick, we decided to call it a day and try to finish our decisions the next day.

Daisy’s POV

I guess after a couple of hours with the girls, minus Melissa because she was still sulking, I made my way into my room, using the excuse I was tired. I really just wanted to get away and have some time for myself.

This whole experience was getting more and more overwhelming by the minute and I really just wanted to give my mum a call and hear her voice. I hadn't spoken to her since the day before and I wanted to notify her of how my performance went.

I grabbed my phone and went to my favourites, to which her name was at the top, listed as ‘Mummy’ with the emoji of two hearts next to it.

Four rings later, she picked up, “Hello darling,” her chirpy and soft, caring voice traveled through the phone. I didn't realise just how much I missed her and dad until I heard her voice.

“Hi mummy,” I chirped back at her.

“How’s it going out there?” She asked? I could tell she was just dying to know how I was out here. This was only the second time I had been out of the country without her and dad. The first being a trip to Cyprus with Amber and her parents a few years back.

“It’s going okay I think. I sang earlier to Niall and his guest judge was Harry Styles,” I said, sitting on the little table and chair in the far corner of the room. It was white and plain.
