Daisy’s POV

I couldn't believe out of everyone, I was picked to go to the semi finals. Me. What had I done better than everyone else?

My whole life had changed over a matter of months. It was just March I was auditioning in that tiny little room, to four judges who had no idea who I was. Just another girl trying to live her dream, much like the thousands of others.

The air was hot and humid, and I could almost feel the sweat dripping off of my forehead. It was mid August after all, one of the hottest times of the year. I’m as pale as a ghost and I can basically burn even when it’s raining and the clouds are covering the sun.

My skin just isn't made for St. Lucia.

Wiping the sweat off of my skin, I made my way into the gorgeous, and very warm, house to try and find the other girls.

A thought quickly rushed into my head: what other two girls got through. I was too caught up thinking about myself that I didn't even consider what other girls got through.

Suddenly feeling extremely curious and nosy, I made my way straight into the living room where I assumed the other girls were. I walked in, my eyes scanning over every human being in sight, quickly stopping when I saw Leah and Kelly.

I ran over, searching their faces of any sign they got through or not. Nothing but blank faces was all I received.

“So… are you through are not?” the desperation of wanting to know was clear in my voice. If these girls were not through, i would feel lost, I had grown such a close relationship with them. Don’t get me wrong, the other three were lovely but we didn't connect at all.

Melissa was a spoiled brat anyway, no one wants to spend their time with that.

Large, wide smiles adorned both of their faces suddenly and they yanked me into a hug, screaming, “WE’RE THROUGH!”

I jumped up and down with them, “No way, me too! Are you joking” I squealed with them.

“Nope, Niall said he see’s potential within me and then told me I was through. I can’t believe it!” Leah explained, such a wide, effortless smile stretching across her face.

“He said that I was too good to let go. This is just so surreal, like is this really happening,” Kelly shook her head in disbelief, a sweet smile also showing. “What did he say to you? He must have been talking to you for ages, you were gone a long time,”

“I don’t really know, I was too focused on how he was probably about to tell me that he was sending me home,” I laughed. “He kinda said the same stuff to me as what he did to you.” I said.

“We need to celebrate,” Kelly said, both Leah and I agreeing.

“Wait, where did the other girls go, have they already left or something?” I questioned. I thought they would at least stick around to say goodbye or something, or maybe even a well done?

“We haven't seen them either, we could check their rooms to see if they’re in there?” Leah said, looking behind her.

Soon after we made our way upstairs to check the girls’ rooms. We first went to Rebecca’s, knocking on the door first and having no answer. We just walked in, peeping our heads in, to see there was no one in there.
