Aurora couldn't sleep.
Something was mentally halting her ability to shut her eyes and drift away.
More like Someone.
She lay awake in her bed as she listens to the passionate voices throughout her house.
It was like this every night. Her parents couldn't sleep in the same room without making all this noise.
It disgusted her.
She decided to try to sleep through it, covering her ears with a pillow because of how disturbing the noises were from the second story of her house.
