"I thought my work was perfect." Aurora frowned as she poked her straw through her cup. "Well, what was it on?" Stuart asked the short haired ravenette.

She gave a small grin, "Buddy Holly."

"Wasn't the project on something that has helped you?" He inquired a blushy red Aurora.

She tucked a strand of black hair behind her ear and looked away, "Okay, so maybe it wasn't my best work- but that doesn't mean it deserves to be trashed!"

They were perched on Aurora's swing set in her back yard as they talked. Stuart looked over to the girl, "You just need to have a sit down and list all the things that matter most to you."

Her eyes traveled from the grey skies to the inviting eyes of Stuart and her heart paused.

"Y-Yeah, I'll do that."

---

What matters most to me.

Her mind went back to how Stuart looked against the sour skies and she could feel her hands tense up. She peered down at her list.

1. S

She realized she hadn't finished this thought and quizzically looked at the note. What could this have meant?

Strawberries?

Snow?

Suddenly, the thought magically popped into her brain.

Stuart.

Sure, writing about a boy seemed corny but Aurora thought it would be sweet. And she did spend most of her days thinking about him.

What harm could it do?

It's not like Stuart would get to see the poem, and she wouldn't even include his name in it anyway.
