(F/n) sniffled, as she placed her belongings into boxes. She didn't know how she was going to face the landlord, who had treated the young girl as her own for the past few years. (F/n) gasped at the sound of gentle knocking at her front door. She twiddled her fingers a little, before jumping up to open the door.

"I brought some food," The sweet old woman sang, looking up from the small plate. ".... my dear."

"I-I-"

"You're packing?" The woman gasped, almost dropping her plate.

"I was going to tell you," (F/n) sighed, pulling the elderly woman into a hug. "but I didn't know how. I'm so sorry..."

"I'm not angry at you, my love." She chuckled, pulling away from the hug. She gave (f/n) a loving smile. "I'm just a little bit shocked. Where will you go?"

"I'll be moving in with my brother."

"I'm glad." Her landlord sighed with relief. "Because that means that you aren't lonely anymore."

Tears filled (f/n)'s eyes, as she pulled the woman in for one last hug. (F/n) pulled away and gasped.

"I almost forgot." She giggled. "I have something for you!"

The girl ran into her room and rummaged through her bag, pulling out the brown envelope she had received from Akira. She bit her lip, before finding the confidence within her.

"Here." She grinned, handing it over. "I'm sorry it isn't enough to make up for the past four years."

She chuckled while scratching the back of her neck. Her landlord shook her head, refusing to take it.

"N-no.. (f/n)!" She refused. "I-I can't."

"Please take it!" (F/n) insisted, bowing at the older lady.

"Where did you get this money?" She asked. "Did you earn it? You should keep it!"

(F/n) walked towards the lady, opening her soft, wrinkled hands, before placing the envelope on them. Gently, she wrapped her fingers around it, tears falling from the lady's cloudy, brown eyes.

"T-thank you, my love. I'm going to miss you a lot!" She sobbed, wiping her tears with the sleeve of her floral top.

The two exchanged a few more hugs before (f/n) tapped the boxes, one by one, using her quirk to transfer them to Shouta's home.
(F/n) sniffled, as she waved at the woman one last time. She threw her bag over her shoulder, before jogging off, stopping at a mini market on her way, to grab groceries for dinner.

"Hey, I'm home." (F/n) shouted, nervously opening the door.

"Hey." Shouta said, walking quickly to meet her at the front door.

"What the fuck are you doing out of bed?!" (F/n)'s jaw dropped at the sight of her brother being so active, despite his awful injuries.

"I was working." He stated, turning back around, before limping back to the living room. "And I brought your stuff to your room."

"You should be resting- wait, how did you even do that?!" She scolded, grabbing his scarf and dragging him up to his room. "Now rest here until I finish cooking."

He nodded, taking a seat at his desk.

"Take a nap or something, you piece of trash." (F/n) ordered, shutting the laptop of her older brother.

"H-HEY-"

She made her way down to the kitchen, cooking a meal, before bringing the two plates back upstairs.

"Why are you still working?" She sighed, placing her hand on top of his head.

"I was working, but I was also making up some rules." He said, his voice muffled through the bandages.

"R-rules? Wha-"

"No going out after 7pm. No bringing boys home. No going to boys' homes. No boyfriends. No dates. No love letters at home."

(F/n)'s jaw dropped and her expression was frozen blank.

"A-anything else?"

"Oh, and no texting boys." He added.

"A-and failure to abide by these rules leads to..?"

"The death of a boy." He stated plainly.

"A-aren't you supposed to be a hero?"

"Yeah, but I'm the older brother of a teenage girl too." He said. "And all young boys are pigs."

"Thanks for looking out for me," She gave him a slightly confused smile. "I guess."

"Have you had a boyfriend before? Have you had your first kiss?" He interrogated.

"No and no."

"Good, because you're not allowed to do that until you're old. And have you-"

"Probably not." (Y/n) interrupted. She sighed and nodded, leaving a plate at his desk.

"Eat up, loser." She chuckled, waving at him. "Don't stay awake for too long."

She shut his door, before making her way to her own room. She had realised that she had not yet seen her room. Slowly and nervously, she opened the door. She shut the door quickly and stormed back to her brother's room. He looked up from his desk, as she glared at him.

"Don't you ever stop working?!" She yelled. "W-why did you go through the trouble of decorating my room?"

"I did it a while ago." He admitted. "When I found out you were going to attend U.A to be exact."

She crouched down and covered her face with her hands, as she couldn't control her tears.

"You already planned this?" She sobbed. "Thank you."

"You're my sister. You don't need to thank me." He stated, as she placed her hand on his head.

"I can't hug you in the state you're in, so this is me showing you affection." She chuckled, ruffling his hair slightly. She moved away from him, falling onto his bed, with her arms wrapped around a pillow.

"Shouta?" She called out for him, earning a hum from him. "Is this a dream?"

"What do you mean?" He asked, slightly confused by her question.

"I feel so happy, I can't believe it. Not even a year ago could I imagine myself in this position. I thought the world was so cruel. I had never even considered becoming a hero." She laughed to herself, before sighing. "Do I even deserve this happiness?"

"Of course you do, (y/n). Don't say stupid things like that." He mumbled. "If I wasn't wrapped up like this, I'd kill you for saying something like that."

"You're right. I need to be more optimistic, if I want to become a great hero- no," She beamed, clenching her fist. "The best hero."
