"Oh, what?! Class A needs supplementary lessons?! That means that someone got a failing mark! Huh?! That's weird, right?! Class A is supposed to be superior, right?! Class-" Monoma grinned, gripping onto his head. His speech died down as he noticed a quiet (h/c)-haired girl pass him by. As he reached out for the girl, he received a heavy smack at the top of his head. "Ouch! (Y/n), wait!"
His call didn't go unnoticed by the girl, who stopped in her tracks and turned around slowly to face her. Monoma's eyes widened at her features: a barely half-hearted smile; bloodshot eyes that symbolised her sleep deprivation; the noticeable, dark rings around her eyes. After realising that the boy was unable to say anything, she continued to walk to her class.
"Hey, (y/n). What's up?" Kirishima smiled at her, sympathetically, placing a hand on top of her head. She flinched at the contact between them - something she had never done before. The boy noticed her visible discomfort and quickly drew back his hand. "Sorry about that."
She shook her head and began to walk away from him, before he caught her wrist.
"Stop." She weakly mumbled, tugging at her arm, apathetically.
"You can talk to me, if something is wrong."
"Nothing is wrong."
"That isn't convincing."
"Stop it, Kirishima!" She yelled, silencing the entire class. He gasped as she did so, releasing her arm. She pushed past a few of her eager classmates and made her way into the coach. Her friends all motioned for her to sit with them, but she shook her head and sat on the free seat beside her brother. The final few students sat down and the entire class began chatting amongst themselves. (Y/n) sank in her seat, unable to force herself to wear a smile. It was as though Bakugo's words had stabbed her through the heart. She needed to get the anger out, but she decided to keep it in, to avoid the possibility of betrayal.
"How can I cheer up my little sister?" Shouta groaned, playfully nudging her with her elbow. She faked a smile, releasing a small nose exhale, explicitly signifying her insincerity.
An hour had passed and not a single sound escaped (y/n)'s lips. The class exited the bus and the quiet girl stood at the front of the crowd, with her friends staring at her from behind, in a pitying manner.
"With sparkling eyes, we rock on!" Two older females cheered. "Cute, cat, stinger! The wild and wild Pussycats!"
"The place you'll be staying in is at the base of that mountain." The brunette pro smiled, pointing far into the distance.
"T-then why did we stop if we're so far away?" Uraraka chuckled nervously, stepping back towards the bus with the rest of the classmates.
"It's nine thirty right now. If you're quick, you should make it around twelve." She laughed. "Those kittens that come back after twelve thirty won't be getting any lunch."
The students looked around with worry and noticed a missing presence.
"(Y/n)?! She's gone already?!" They screamed, searching around for her. Before they knew it, the ground had pushed them off the edge of the cliff and the battle had begun.
(Y/n) was brutally making her way through the forest, with the group of boys following just behind her. Bakugo was filled with witty comments to throw at her, but tried his best to restrain himself, after the damage he had already inflicted upon her.
The time was 5:20pm and the students arrived at the base. The students all trudged from within the forest; blood, sweat and tears causing their skin to glisten. The two pro heroes came out congratulate the students, who arrived faster than expected. The class broke into silence, shocked at what they had to ensure. But for the first time in a while, they had noticed a genuine smile make its way onto (y/n)'s face as she chuckled to herself.
