It's been a week. Chance hasn't woken up yet. I'm sitting in the hospital bed next to her.  

"Avery got suspended for punching a girl," I tell her smiling. 

"And some of the kids at school made you a card. It's on the table next to you." I say holding her hand. 

"Gabby misses you." I sigh. 

"Brandon and Ashton would've been here today but my mom doesn't want them to worry." Tears build up in my eyes. 

"It's been a full week without you and I feel like I'm going insane." I laugh. 

"You put order in my life." I wipe a tear. 

"I'm sorry I was yelling at you." I whisper kissing her fingers. "Ava slipped a bouquet of flowers into my locker to give to you. There's even an apology letter in there. She's really sorry for being rude to you. And she's sorry that Avery is continuously rude to you." I smile. 

"I miss you so much baby girl."  There's a beep from the machine. Followed by another. And more at a faster rate. Nurses rush in and push me out. I watch from the door as  they rip open her shirt and put two metal plates and put them on her chest. The plates make a noise and her whole body jerks. They do it again, and again until the beats so down. The put the plates away and walk out. I stop one of the nurses. 

"What just happened?" I ask. 

"She was crashing. She's okay now." She smiles. I nod and rush over to Chance's side. 

"I need you to come back Chance, I need you to come back. I don't need to lose you forever." I cry. Her grip tightens on my hand for a second and then lets go. 

"NURSE!" I scream. A nurse runs in and I tell her what happened. She takes a flashlight and shines it in her eyes. 

"I'm sorry sweetie. You must be feeling things, she's still not responsive. Maybe you should get some sleep. It's late and you've been here every day of the week." She says looking at me. 

"No. I need to be here for her." I sigh. 

"Hunter, Go home." I hear a familiar voice say from behind me. I turn around and gasp at the person standing in the doorway.
