Hero's POV

It was about 9 in the morning when I landed in Arizona. I walk off the plane and Chance and Hunter run over to me. 

"CHANCE!" I scream as she hugs me. 

"HEROO!!" She laughs. 

"HUNTER!!!" I smile hugging him too. 

"HERO!" He laughs. We stand there in awkward silence. 

"So...." I laugh as they gesture for me to walk out the doors with them. We get in an uber and drive to Hunter's house. I'm greeted by 2 screaming children and Christine. 

"Hero!!" She smiles pulling me into a hug. I look at the two boys who were rolling around on the floor. 

"Hero you know Brandon and Ashton." Hunter nervously chuckles. I laugh and smile. 

"Hi." I wave. They stop rolling and get off the floor. 

"Hi." Brandon winks. 

"HIII!!" Ashton yells. I laugh. They seem like a cool family. 

"Chance you have to come out to Oregon!" I complain. 

"Isn't it always cold there? And don't they lack I don't know... Hunter." She laughs. 

"Hunter would come to you dummy." I laugh punching her in the arm. She giggles and we go to Hunter's room. Her phone buzzes and she goes to look at it but Hunter grabs it before she does. I look at them confused until Hunter shows me the texts.

[Avery}: How's my little bitch doing? You good? You dead? If you are congrats. Our wishes finally came true :)

"What the hell!"I say grabbing the phone and deleting the message. 

"What was it?" Chance asks grabbing her phone out of my hands. 

"Nothing you need to worry about." Hunter says looking her in the eyes. 

"Hunter." She groans looking at the message. It must not have deleted because her eyes widen. 

"It doesn't bother me." She says trying to stay strong but I could see the tears in her eyes. 

"Chance." Me and Hunter both say pulling her into a hug. 

"Stop. I'm fine. This is normal." She says, the words sound like they've been said a million times. 

"That's terrible." I say rubbing her arm. She groans and sits down.

*Skips to that night*
Hunter

I walk into my room and I see a note. I ignore it and broadcast. After about an hour I call Chance. No answer. I call her again. No answer. I do the same 2 more times. Each time no answer. I look at the note on my bed. 

Dear Hunter,
Goodbye my love. I'm not going to write much because you already know where this is going. I love you with all my heart. If you want to go to the bridge and bring flowers. It's where I died. I jumped off. I love you. You're my heart and soul mate.
Goodbye mi amor,
Love,
Chance <3

I run to the bridge and look over. I could see her body laying by the side where there was land. I run down the bridge to the opening and run to where she was laying. 

"CHANCE!" I scream as I lift her up. 

"Hunter?" She asks coughing. I smile looking at her. 

"You're alive." I say, a huge smile on my face. 

"I love you Hunter." She says in between coughs. 

"I love you too." I say rushing her to the hospital. I'm on the street and I could tell she wasn't breathing. She had died in my arms.

I wake up to Chance shaking me. 

"You had a dream again... didn't you." She mumbles pulling me into a tight hug. 

"I.. um... yeah." I mumble. 

"I told you I'm not thinking about it. You're thinking about me doing it more than I am." She laughs messing with my hair. 

"I'm worried." I sigh sticking out my bottom lip. 

"Stop being. I told you as of right now I'm okay. Because I have you." She smiles. I peck her lips and smile. 

"I love you Chance." 

"I love you too boo." She laughs standing up. Hero was still asleep. I yawn and make a loud groan. 

"SHH!" Chance scolds tip toeing down stairs. This girl makes me nuts. But I'd be insane without her.
