Chapter 4

Soul's POV

"Will you shut up Jasmine," I groan, trying to walk faster. "No you will listen to me talk about my anime when Obi isn't here," She replies, "Anyways stop complaining, if I have to watch you ruin people's thoughts of love and soulmates." I look at her and see she is glaring at me. "Then stop handing around me," I huff, ignoring my inner thoughts. "No because no matter how much you piss me off I still care about you as my friend and I don't want you to see you or others hurt," She explains, her gaze softening.

"You are so cliche it's weird," I sigh, turning to face forward again. "Just when I start to be nice I get turned down. I'm done with this crap." She storms off into the crowd. "So uncool," I think, walking a little more until I reach my locker. "What did you do to my girlfriend?" Obi asks, leaning on my locker, "She walked right passed me and when I went after her and asked whats wrong she said to piss off and look for you." I roll my eyes and lightly shove him off my locker.

"All I did was call her weird for being so cliche because she said something of not wanting me to be hurt or others," I reply, opening my locker and pulling my backpack out after stuffing in my books for homework. "Come on and go apologize before Jade finds her and tries to kill you," He states, patting my back. "SOULLLLLLL!!!!!" A very familiar voice yells through out the hallways. "Too late," I reply in a monotone voice. "You asshole! My sister tries to do something nice and you say she's weird for being cliche?! Well you're going to be pretty dead," Jade snaps, shoving me into the locker.

"Jade calm down there's no need to be so harsh," Jasmine sighs, walking up from behind Jade. "She's right Jade," The new girl, Maya, or something agrees. Jade gives me a death glare before harshly letting go of me and grabbing both Jasmine and Maya's hand and drags them away. "Hey wait up that's my girlfriend you're dragging away from me," Obi calls, running after them. I close my locker and walk after them. "Bow down you mortals, for I, Black*Star your god is here," Black*Star yells, running into me. "Dude that was so uncool," I growl, glaring at him.

"Oh it's you," He mutters, looking me up and down. "Black*Star be careful next- oh hello Soul," Tsubaki smiles, nudging Black*Star close to me, "Isn't there something you wanted to tell him Star?" He makes a 'hmph' and looks away. "It's alright I lashed out fist so I'm sorry Black*Star," I apologize, extending my hand. He looks at me then my hand before smiling big and shaking my hand. I give a smile of my own before letting go. "So where are you going?" He asks, throwing his arm around my neck.

"I'm just going to go home," I reply, shrugging my shoulders. "That's boring you should come join Tsubaki, Kid, Isayoi, Patty, Jade, Liz, and I to the bowling alley." I look him up and down before shrugging again, "Sure." He cheers and pulls Tsubaki into a hug. "It still confuses me that you two aren't soulmates," I say, looking at both of them interact. They look at me before looking at each other and smile. "I mean like hanging out with me but he tends to be a little too much and I rather be best friends anyways," Tsubaki explains, letting go of Black*Star.

"And besides a mortal such as she doesn't know how to cope with a god in her presence," He boasts, letting go of both of us. I roll my eyes and walk faster, seeing my motorcycle in the distance. "I'll send you the details for tonight alright," Black*Star calls out. I put a thumbs up in the air. I reach my bike and put on my helmet while putting one leg over it and steady myself. I put it in ignition and drive off until I see my apartment complex in view.

I walk up the flights of stairs and open the door to be greeted by Blair waiting near the door. I bend down and pick her up while closing the door with my foot. She purrs contently and snuggles further in my chest. Just as I get comfortable on the couch my phone goes off. I sigh and take it out my pocket.

BlackStar: Meet us at the front around 6, Kay?

Soul: Sure, I'll see you then

I put it down, the remote taking the place in my hands. "What should we watch before 6 Blair?" I look at the cat knowing she wouldn't answer. She looks up at me meowing. "What about The Office?" She meows contently, rubbing her head on my hand. "The Office it is."

"Where were you? It's Six-thirty," Kid complains, "Black*Star said to be here at Six." I shrug my shoulders. "I was watching The Office with Blair and I lost track of time," I reply, "Now can we get the shoes, since it seems as though you guys didn't get them before hand."

"Lets go," Jade cheers, grabbing onto Isayoi's hand and drags him to the counter. We follow them and all get our shoes. "So two games?" Liz asks, leaning on the counter. "Yup," Tsubaki replies, taking out some money and hands it to the man, putting up two fingers. "You didn't have to pay for it," I deadpan, putting my hands in my pockets. "Well it was my idea to come bowling so it's the least I could do," She smiles, "Now lets go have fun."

"Yeaaahhhhhh," Patty squeals, tugging on Kid. "So Amber how about if I get a strike I get a kiss?" I flirt, about to put an arm around her shoulders but Isayoi pulls her away. "Try and do anything to my girl and you won't see the light of day again," He growls, snaking both arms around her waist. "What about you Lizzy?" I turn my head to look at her. "Not a chance Soul but nice try."

"Tsubaki?" She just giggles, "Nope." I sigh and put my head back. "Don't even think of asking Patty that," Kid defends, looking at me suspiciously. I put my hands up in defense, "I wouldn't try it." He nods his head and turns back around. "So where's Jasmine?" I turn to Jade. "Oh she went on a date with Obi I think," She explains, sitting down at a chair. "So uncool," I mutter, going to the controls to put everyone's name in. When I finish I grab one of the balls and go the lane.

"How about we make a bet guys," I speak up before rolling the ball. All but Jade says yes. I smirk and explain.

Here is the lovely Chapter 4. So I didn't have Tsubaki and Black*Star together because it isn't something I ship so I'm sorry to anyone who does. If anyone wants you could give me characters from other any other anime if you want. Also I started to listen to the track from Straight outta Oz and Oh My Gawd I fell in love. I'm also drawing pictures that should be done by the next Chapter and if not then the next next chapter.
