Maka's POV

"Yahoooo!" A voice howls, "I Black*Star shall rule over all of you, including God himself!"

"And here I thought today would be a peaceful day but no he had to come and ruin it," Jade sighs, closing her locker. She turns around and faces me.

"Shall we get to music now?" I ask, motioning to the direction of the room. She sighs and nods, walking ahead of me. Before we could move a few more feet I get shoved into Jade.

"Yahoooo!"

"Agh," Jade winces in pain, between me and the locker, "Watch where you're going Star before I make sure you can't walk at all."

"Be careful how you speak to me Ruby or I won't be as forgiving when I become God," Black*Star chuckles. I help Jade up, completely ignoring Black*Star at the moment.

"Come on Black*Star don't be so harsh with others," Tsubaki reasons, coming from behind him.

"Lets hurry up and get to music before Mr. Sena gets mad and I rather not get him mad," Jade states, grabbing my hand and begins to drag me away. I allow her to drag me until we make to the classroom and in our seats.

"Hiiiiiiiii Jade, hiiiiiiii Maka," Patty beams, hugging onto Kid.

"Hey Patty, nice to see you in school today," Jade greets, turning in her seat, "So where's Liz at?"

"She's sick after staying up too much," Kid explains, lightly pushing Patty to her seat.

"Alright class today I'm going to allow you to pick partners and sing a duet in two days chosen by me," Mr. Sena smiles, "Now hurry up before I choose for youu~"

Jade smiles and pulls me closer, "You and I, what'd you say?" I nod in agreement, scooting closer. She smiles and gets up, walking to the front. I wait patiently for our song to be chosen. "I've never really been so good at singing in front of others," I think, bowing my head a little.

"Alright so our song is 'Count on me' by Bruno Mars," Jade says as she sits down. I nod, jotting down the song in my notebook. She hands me a few sheets of paper and I look over it.

"Lets see if we can use one of the sound booths or something, yeah?" I suggest, holding onto the paper.

"Come on lets go check before it's too late," She agrees, pulling me up. We walk up and wait to talk to the already busy teacher.

We continue to stand in place because of the pair in front of us continuing argue with Mr. Sena. I sigh and sit in the vacant seat next to me. "Why won't they just let it go," Jade sighs, irritated, "I mean he said no so deal with it." I nod in agreement.

"Sit down you two those two girls behind you have been patient enough and if you don't sit down you both will be written up," Mr. Sena smiles, shooing both girls off. They glare at us as we get up and walk away. "So you two need something?" He asks, leaning on his desk behind him.

"We were wondering if there were any booths open or if we could go somewhere," Jade begins, looking around the class, "More quiet." Mr. Sena nods and motions for us to follow to him. Jade and I share a look of confusion but follow anyways. He takes us to a small room in the back. He gestures for us to go in.
