I looked through my fridge, looking for a sprite or something as my mom scolded me. In the office they asked me if I was with anyone else out in the field, I said no. I got a detention for tomorrow at 2:00.
Wow a detention for eating a sandwich in the football field. What would they come up with next?
After school I told Cheryth and Brent what happened. As I was telling them what happened with Emily she walked by laughing and whispering to Mikaylin.
" are you listening to me?" My mom yelled at me as I closed the fridge door pulling out a peperette.
" yeah, yeah stay home from Troy's party,....wait what?! I can't stay home from that I'm going with Brent!" I glared at my mom. " I was eating a sandwich in the freaking football field!"
" don't use that tone with me Amber Lena Johnstare! Oh are not going to that party this Friday. And that's final. Go up to your room and finish your biology homework. Now!"
I stomped up the stairs and flopped on my bed. I clenched my fist. I'm going to that party I can't tell Brent I can't because he wanted to eat lunch in the football field.
" I'm going to that party"
My phone buzzed. I picked it up and read the notification.
Brent- Hey, ready for the party Friday?👍
Me- oh yeah! Can't wait.
I smiled
Me- what should I wear? What type of party is it??
Brent- oh yeah! It's a pool party so just dress casual and bring your swim suit of course😋
Me- okay😁will do, see you tomorrow.
Brent- see you tomorrow😊
