The Whole Story,
Figuratively SpeakingAfter giving her time to digest all the information, 2 minutes to be exact, Ash informed Rosella it was time to leave.
Rosella braced herself to get teleported, only to find out she'd be walking to her house-
In heels-
That's 4 miles away-"Tell me again, why you don't just use your little powers and zap us there?" Rosella all but groaned, her face contorted in pain as she mockingly threw her head back.
She estimated that they had walked around 3 Miles so far and the thought of walking another made her want to cry.
Ash decided to dismiss the fact that she had called his extremely powerful god-given abilities; little powers.
Ash Groaned in annoyance. "Like I said the other 3 times you asked; When I use my powers, it leaves- let's call it an atomic mark- that angels and demons can track.
The only reason I gave you that bracelet was to temporarily hide your energy when your outside the apartment- that will not do anything if they can trace you through me. "
Ash had given Rosella a beautiful bracelet just before they left. At first she was grateful- until he told her it was only to hide her powers and that as soon as he found a more permanent solution he would need it back.
"From now on, unless we're heading straight back to my apartment, no powers are allowed.
Not only that, I don't want you to get used to me teleporting us everywhere because, believe it or not, there are times when my powers are either weakened or don't work-"
"How the hell do they not work?" Rosella interrupted again.
Ash worked hard to hide his irritation from his face.
"Usually some black magic is involved- although, that's a story for another time. As I was saying, you've gone this long without it so I'm only going to use it if we're in immediate danger." He concluded as they rounded the corner, a block away from her mothers house.
"But we are in immediate danger!"
"No." He drawled out. "The only thing that is in danger, is your feet from blisters."
"Exactly! I never wear high heels and the one time Haley makes me, is the time I walk 500 Miles!"
"500 Miles is an over exaggeration, to be specific, we've actually only walked-"
"I don't want to know." Rosella sighed, ending the conversation but still thinking about it.
She had only just found out that angels, demons- the whole shebang, was real.
Not 30 minutes later, she was casually talking about teleporting as if it were an everyday car ride.
Although in the back of her mind she still doubted that it all could be a weird dream, for the most part, she had accepted it fairly easily.
Excluding the fact that she was a nephilim and her father was an angel- that, she couldn't quite believe until she heard it from her mothers mouth.
Which could potentially happen right now that she stood outside the house; the thousands of minuscule grains making up the door staring at her, mocking her to go in.
"Here we are." Rosella sighed nervously, wiping her now clammy hands on the dress and showing no sign of making any move to pass through the closed door in front of her.
After a few moments of nothing, Ash spoke up. "Are you trying to open the door with your mind because it will take you a lot of practice before you're able to do that, or are you too scared to go in?"
